Happy Halloween!
Oct. 31st, 2005 05:34 pmHappy Halloween!
It rained today. I looked like a pansy Death, wandering around in my cloak on campus with an umbrella, the ripply back fabric pulled up to my knees to keep it from getting wet.
I have eaten nothing but some cereal, a lot of chips, and a whole lot of candy. That's IT, today . . . Center Court is really starting to sound good.
I think it's funny that in Japanese Civilization, we listened to a man speak about the uniqueness of Japan in the very same fashion that the guy I'm doing my Crossing Borders paper on shoots down: Japan is unique! We are better at certain things, inherently! That's just the way it is! Hence, I am writing my paper on how that Crossing Borders paper guy has a point-- but Japan genuinely believes in this, so that should be taken into account . . .
There are two things I hate feeling: Useless and ignorant. I don't mind depression half so much as feeling stupid about what caused it to come about, or something like that . . .
This is all purely hypothetical. I am feeling fine today.
In six and one half hours, I begin writing my novel, Setting Sun.
