I slept for 11 hours last night. Basically, I got bored around 10:00 pm, and then sat and read in bed until about 11:00 pm, and then, after going to sleep, slept until 7:00 am, when I could have woken up very refreshed, but continued on until 10:00 am, having very long, extended, trippy, tiring, soul-sucking dreams (my head feels deflated . . . that always happens when I sleep too long) about having to do a bunch of chores at the lake (like carrying a blue bung-- used for raft floatation) on my back across acres of farmland, and then having to rush to some football game, where I had to dress as a color guard girl in, of all things, a Memorial (what looking like a cheerleading) uniform. It confused me to no end. There was even a reference to yesterday's Mulan: ie, my hair being done up like a koala, lol . . . (see this picture from Mulan II to get what I mean . . . Tiffany assigned Jessica, herself, and me each a princess from it . . . I got to be the koala-looking middle sister, Mei, lol, with the pink theme . . . who actually was sort of the main sister . . . though, really, aspects of her and the younger one, Su, in the yellow, were interchangeable with Tiffany and I . . . like the love of food . . . and Jessica had to be the rabbity purple one, Ting-Ting-- like the panda, lol-- who was level-headed but snorted when she laughed . . . it's odd . . . anyway, lol . . . ). Anyway, I had to dress up like I was from Memorial, which made no sense, and I was calling Tiffany from a cell phone in my dream (so she could show up and sit with me as I went incognito into her school . . . ???) just as I was waking up, and it really hurt my head, trying to listen to her on the other line in a quickly fading dream . . .
I went upstairs and it felt positively tropical around the house. It's so humid and muggy, and yet so beautifully quiet, so it's like a tropical rain forest or a jungle . . . the birds are going nuts, and there's some cicadas, I believe they are, in the forest out back . . .
I actually ate a pluot for breakfast. That's fruit-- and fruit for BREAKFAST. A pluot is 2/3 plum and 1/3 apricot. It's really good. It makes the plum more sweet, and the flesh redder.
I really don't feel very social, today, being so tired. However, I just have Rachel's graduation party, which I'll put in a brief showing at (unless like Robert or Alice or Liz shows up at the same time as me, I may very well not know anyone), and then my cousin James's, which shouldn't be bad since it's family.
