Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly and give them credit.
1) "And do you know why she won't break down and cry? She says, 'Adios,' says, 'Adios; good-bye.'"
2) "Let the rain fall down everywhere around you. Give into it now; let the day surround you. You don't need a reason; let the rain go on and on."
3) "If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one, drying in the color of the evening sun, tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away, but something in our minds will always stay."
4) "Missing brothers, martyred fellows, silent children in the ground: Could we but hear them, would they not tell us, 'Time to lay God's rifle down'?"
5) "Can you forgive me again? You're my one true friend, and I never meant to hurt you."
6) "She grew so lonely in the end, that angels picked her for friend! And I can never go home anymore . . . "
7) "I remember what they taught to me, remember condescending talk of who I ought to be, remember listening to all of that and this again, so I pretended up a person who was fitting in, and now you think this person really is me, and I'm trying to bend the truth."
8) "Playground school bell rings again. Rain clouds come to play again. Has no one told you she's not breathing? Hello, I'm your mind, giving you someone to talk to: Hello."
9) "I have my books and my poetry to protect me. I am shielded in my armor, hiding in my room, safe within my womb, I touch no one and no one touches me." (PS: It's actually NOT punk rock! Lol . . . )
10) "You've got to go to the lonesome valley. You've got to go there by yourself. Nobody else can go there for you; you've got to go there by yourself." (and, um, that's about the whole song . . . )
11) "I know what I am, I'm a man, and so's Lola."
12) "Take my hand and lead me to salvation, take my love, for love is everlasting, and remember the truth that once was spoken: 'To love another person is to see the face of God.'"
13) "He spent his whole life being too young to live the life that's in his dreams. At night he lies awake and he wonders, 'Why can't that be me?' His life is filled with all these good intentions, but he's left a lot of things he'd rather not mention right now."
14) "I was so afriad, Fernando; we were young and full of life and none of us could bear to die, and I'm not afraid to say the roar of guns and cannons almost made me cry."
15) "I say, now better watch what you say, or they'll be calling you radical, a liberal, ooh, fanatical, criminal."
16) "Give me one, 'cause one is best, in confusion: confidence. Give me piece of mind, and trust, and don't forget the rest of us."
16) "Will you join our Crusade? Who will be strong and stand with me? Beyond the barricade is there a world you long to see?"
17) "Father Mackenzie, wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from her grave: No one was saved."
18) "Burninating the countryside, burninating the peasants, burninating all the people, and he smashed through cottages!"
19) "Oh simple thing, where have you gone? I'm getting old and I need something to rely on."
20) "In a world that don't know Romeo and Juliet: Boy meets girl and promises we can't forget. We are cast from Eden's gate with no regrets. Into the fire we cry . . . "
21) "You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie; you're in the arms of the angels: May you find some comfort here."
22) "Look out! Look out! Look out! *CRASH*"
23) "Hello lamppost, whatcha knowin'? I've come to watch your flowers grow, and . . . "
24) "A mulatto, an albino, a mosquito, my libido, yeah!"
25) "Every breath you take, every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you."
26) "So many feel like we walk on eggshells all day long, all I know is that all I want is to feel like I'm not stepped on."
This are all pretty obvious, I think. If you've heard the song, you'd get it.
