Last Night

I just saw more movies in the past 24 hours than I have in the past 6 months. Chocolat, Minority Report last night, and then The Italian Job this morning, all at Jessica's house. I think I liked Chocolat best; definitely more the aura-filmography-story type person as opposed to action. I like the concept of destiny and such, changing it, in Minority Report, but I didn't see all the motivations in The Italian Job-- sure, on one side, they had the revenge, but I didn't get why Steve was a double-crosser. Was he just a villian? Just a greedy villain? I don't know; I never get so much into it if the "villains" don't have a proper human motivation. I liked the Count in Chocolat, though; he reminded me oh so much of Javert.

I have to go clean up a road in a little less than an hour and I don't know quite where to go. It's somewhere around Ritter's, apparently . . . but where do I park? I hope they have people there for me to see, or something . . . it's always so much easier when Dad takes us and we stop down at Rotary and have doughnuts first.

Is doughnut spelled doughnut or donut? I like the former.

We made really greasy cookies. Some turned out crispy and some turned out like school cookies, but Tiffany liked them. Hey, it's variety.

I think I should interview Neil for my Economics paper. He's the only one who will bother to be interested, lol . . . Tiffany refused to even read it, and though Jessica did, she was like, "Um, not interested, no opinions."

Well, it is about contingent employment. Who really cares about that at 11 in the morning while wearing pajamas, running on limited sleep?

I had a dream Jessica, Tiffany, and I were in a random grocery store and a tornado busted in and came down the aisles, and Jessica almost got run over and we thought she had died. Why is she always the one of us to die-- or almost die-- in my dreams? That's kind of freaky.

I still don't have my World History report on Quakers done yet because Tory and Mom wouldn't get off the computer when I needed them to.

They play Schubert's Unfinished Symphony in Minority Report-- the cool, awesome beginning part, too. I got all excited because we're playing it in YHO, and I told Tiffany to tell Dr. Inglefield they used it in that movie, just like I told him when our history movies used the first movement of Borodin's Deuxime Symphony and the Rienzi Overture by Wagner (ahh . . . Rienzi . . . *shudders*). It seems to make him happy, and that man could do with being made happy.

"This is the symphony, that Schubert wrote and never finished . . . "

That's terrible.

I wanna hold your Fran.

So now I need to go write that Quaker report. Confound it.
