Babysitting
Sep. 19th, 2004 08:36 amI get to drive two hours to Munster today, go to a thing on Yale that is probably less than two hours, and then drive two hours back. Yale. Pssh. *Laughs at Dad's foolish whim.*
I babysat AGAIN last night because Tory was lazy and "sick." Not sick enough to not stay up until 11:00 watching Inuyasha and draw a couple pictures of Remus Lupin for me.
She also found this great picture online. I love it. I even made up thoughts for all of them (based partially on what the artist said they were thinking . . . but still . . . ):
Sirius: Heh heh, I've corrupted Remus . . . Dude, James, turn around, I can't drive like this.
James: Does Lily realize that when she changes with the lights on, people can see in? I hope she never does . . .
Remus: CANDY!!! *Is oblivious to the fact he is on a motorbike*
It looks very '70s, too, which I like.
Anyway . . . the Wyse kids amuse me. Michael is crazy, it's so funny. Once, when Megan was feeling sick, I put a bowl by her bed, in case she needed to throw up, and went downstairs. A few minutes later Megan is calling downstairs, "AMY!!! Michael did a VERY BAD THING!!!" So I come up to find the bowl full of pee, and Michael in the corner, snickering, with his pants down.
Nothing that funny happened last night, but Michael has decided he really likes to pull Megan's pants down. Megan and Amy (yes, the third child is named Amy) were dancing around to their Sunday School song CD and doing the little dances and motions, and it was very cute, but Michael kept running into Megan and trying to pull down her pants in the middle of her songs-- about God and Jesus, no less, which just makes it even funnier . . .
Yesterday Tory and I heard "Lola" on the radio, and I was like, "WHOA!!! Is this about a transvestite?" because I hadn't heard it since, well, probably before I knew what a tranvestite was. Either that or I never paid attention. So we went home and looked it up, and, indeed, it was. It's also on the list of the worst songs of all time, along with MacArthur Park (another one I like, heehee), Muskrat Love, I Will Always Love You, and that Titanic song, We Didn't Start the Fire, and a couple others, a lot of which I really like. That's very sad.
I wish Liz wasn't grounded so I could go to church with her. She's grounded from church. How odd does that sound? Lol . . .
