Kristina and I went and saw Nichole in the hospital. It was like a stroll down memory lane . . . the C elevator, third floor, pediatrics, all the hospital stuff, even IVs . . . we freaked out Kristina with talk about that.

Of course, there had to be a miscommunication about Tory at Taw Kwon Do (I thought, you know, Mom would get the hint, when I said, "I'm taking Tory to Tae Kwon Do and then I'm going to the hospital" and I thought she would get the hint and pick her up, but no . . . ), so now Mom and Dad are all mad and acting like it's such a big huge deal. So Tory just waited at the place for an extra hour, and Neil was alone for a while. He's nine, he can deal. Nichole has freaking pneumonia and brochitis. I think everybody can handle it, you know?

She looked so feverish and hot and such. Her room was really hot, but she said she felt cold. Then again, Nichole always feels cold.

She really does not need to march in the Labor Day parade. Her mom needs to get that out of her head.

We brought her two mangos ("We have brought you underripe mangos; they will ripen as you heal!") and a cute Mylar balloon of a fish with glasses that magnify its eyes (like Trelawney!)-- which we named Gladys on one side (the one with the bar code) and Gilbert and the other.

Pods in English are nice, though I wish Nichole was here so I could talk to someone I know.

"I like marginal benefits!" that was funny, indeed . . .

I also liked the Palladio song in Orchestra. You cellos shall ruin it for us, won't you? We won't get to play it.

Egypt Egypt Egypt in World History. It just reminds me of the Prince of Egypt whenever we talk about Ramses II. I find it a great irony (probably done on purpose) that the chariot race between Moses and Ramses is a giant display of everything the Hebrews brought to Egypt: chariots and horses, and even a shot of a man on a wall using a compound bow-- all Hebrew inventions. Pretty cool, huh?

Spanish is just kind of boring. I have to pay attention at all times because it's just one of those classes-- the kind you can never sleep in or just sit back and relax as they give you notes in-- and so since it's so far at least very easy and there's no one I know in it, it's very boring.

Guillermina . . . it's still such a pretty name.

Kristina and I busted out with "Bye Bye Bye" in the car when we heard on the radio. We just had to do it. It reminds me of way back in 9th grade . . . ahh, the good old days. Okay, so not so good . . . well, maybe in some ways. I don't know.

She didn't think the house I thought looks like 12 Grimmauld Place looks like 12 Grimmauld Place.
