I WOULD ENJOY LIVING IN A NONINFESTED HOUSE KTHANKSBYE

In the past two days in my apartment I have seen:

1) a mouse (no idea if it's the same one as before)
2) a giant-ass cockroach (like the one I killed a couple weeks ago but obviously not the same one because I majorly killed the fuck out of that one)

both skittering across my floor so fast there was nothing I could do about them. I need to set up another mouse trap (I took mine down after the first mouse after only a week since I hadn't seen the mouse again in all that time) and bigger roach traps. I'm pretty sure this cockroach could wear my existing traps as a hat.

Though I actually kind of hope they both just kill each other. Any possibility of that happening? At the very least, do mice eat cockroaches? Because I think I'd rather deal with the mouse.

In other news, this post is mostly pointless and I have a very pointful entry I'd really appreciate people reading here.

You may now continue with your regular vermin-free programming.

PS: There is also a typhoon that will actually hit my region of Japan. As in, we actually get "Typhoon Melou" warnings on our weather reports, and rain, wind, and thunder is predicted for the next few days. Finally an interesting storm??

Also, I explained the difference between a hurricane and typhoon (basically: none, except which ocean it's in) and a tornado to a teacher today. I had to tell him to look up a video of a tornado because he had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Seeing as how they were an ever-present possibility in my life and I've always been fascinated with them it floors me that someone would have never even seen a picture of one before, but I guess I can see how they sound pretty unbelievable. Even the videos of them are kind of "Nuh uh!" to watch sometimes.

When you do get another mouse trap, put peanut butter on it. We killed both mice we had in our house within 10 minutes of putting out traps with peanut butter.
Good Luck!! :-D

Thanks for the tip! I'll have to look around for small containers of peanut butter, because Japanese peanut butter isn't very good and I don't really like eating it XD

Why do you want to be in a typhoon, again?

But yeah, peanut butter is definitely good for mice catching. If you can get PB in Japan. Can you?

Because I love storms-- too much probably.

You can but it's kind of nasty (runny, not very flavorful). We'll see if the mice likes it better than I do, lol.
