Animal Rights Propaganda Videos

I really enjoy good propaganda. My favorites are Disney and Warner Brothers films from WWII, but you can find great propaganda-- video, literary, or artistic-- in any culture during any era. (Communist propaganda is another favorite-- the USSR or China).

So Tory and I were exploring propaganda about animal cruelty today.

I must say, I think we found the most adorable propaganda ever:

I mean, save like two seconds, it's just a fluff fest. And, actually, the gross part mostly just made me laugh. (Though I guess I am a terrible person who eats meat . . . ).

We figured we might as well check out the big guns, and went to PETA's website for children. They have some great games; I thought Make Fred Spew!" was particularly classy. (Though Tory and I did genuinely enjoy saving falling chickens (even though their necks were allegedly already cut?) and helping a lobster cross the road with help of some lobster parametics).

Well, you're right on that! It was mainly the photo at the end that got me...struck home that, woah, they actually do that.

I don't particularly enjoy animal cruelty (even animated), but I don't like the idea of people cruelty to make animals' rights needs known?

The duck thing just was adorable except for one bloody "shock" second which cracked me up more than it disturbed me, lol . . .
