Animal Rights Propaganda Videos
Jun. 1st, 2008 11:41 pmI really enjoy good propaganda. My favorites are Disney and Warner Brothers films from WWII, but you can find great propaganda-- video, literary, or artistic-- in any culture during any era. (Communist propaganda is another favorite-- the USSR or China).
So Tory and I were exploring propaganda about animal cruelty today.
I must say, I think we found the most adorable propaganda ever:
I mean, save like two seconds, it's just a fluff fest. And, actually, the gross part mostly just made me laugh. (Though I guess I am a terrible person who eats meat . . . ).
We figured we might as well check out the big guns, and went to PETA's website for children. They have some great games; I thought Make Fred Spew!" was particularly classy. (Though Tory and I did genuinely enjoy saving falling chickens (even though their necks were allegedly already cut?) and helping a lobster cross the road with help of some lobster parametics).
