Virginia Tech Shooting

If no one's heard already, there was a shooting at Virginia Tech this morning. 33 are dead-- it's apparently the largest school shooting in history. Scary stuff . . .

I hope Kiwi's friends are alright; she knows a lot of people down there and already knows one of her former classmates was shot in the leg-- she's okay, aside from that, at least. She was a wreak all today waiting to hear from everyone. I guess it's comparable to what it would be like if this were IU, for me . . . knowing that IU campus is huge but also that I know an awful lot of people that go there . . .

O.o Are you serious? Was it a student or a random person? Or maybe I should just look up the story myself...But still. Thats scary.

It was a student. At like seven in the morning, he first apparently hunted down his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, lined them up against a wall, and shot them . . . and then there was some open-fire on classrooms and things . . . the whole rampage lasted about two hours, in a sort of gap . . . People are complaining that the school didn't do enough to stop what was happening, as it lasted so long . . .

yeah that shooting is very sad I know only one person from VT and he is okay but I think he is in India so he was safe all along
