The First Of Spring

Oh, the irony of being able to vent my frustration with my Japanese performance . . . in Japanese :-P

I am not in a bad mood, though. I am doing quite well at putting my mind to other, better things (at the moment).

It is a beautiful day outside. I got to wear a skirt (without leggings) today. My hair looks halfway decent. I had the most delicious (mini) Cadberry egg I've ever had in my life (I was so in the mood for that!). I have plenty of peeps and candy and chips and more Cadberry eggs to munch on, plus an amusing and adorable musical bunny toy (that prompts surprisingly dirty thoughts from male improvisors-- and regular males, with prompting, lol), all from family members who love me. I worked on my novel for a little bit during lunch break. I am ordering my rain boots tonight, probably. I feel in a beautiful, peaceful, blissful, spring kind of mood ^_^ Perfect for the first day of spring, you know ^_^

I just have homework to do and I'd rather be sticking to the other, better things :-P

(Speaking of boots, anyone have a preference? There's so many adorable choices to choose from . . . I've been suggested Pink Cupcake Party twice, Cherries once, Pink Plaid once or twice, and Turquoise Mod Dots once . . . ).

Actually, I'd like multiple pairs, but I'm a shoe whore. (We counted yesterday - including boots, flipflops, slippers, and dance shoes as well as "normal" ones, I have over 40 pairs of footwear. And counting.)

I feel like I've just recently entered the world of female shoe whorage, and I have to control myself, lol :-P My shoe possession was around four or five pairs senior year-- flip-flops, sneakers, school shoes, dress shoes, and snow boots-- and I've probably tripled that over the course of two years, lol . . .

Dude, I just love shoes. I came home from Ireland with 5 new pairs. My mother sighed and said as long as I didn't pay too much for them all (I didn't. I'm a bargain hunter.)

There's barely a chance of me getting any shoes in Japan; I have trucks for feet by their sizing standards, lol . . .
