| Personality/Emotions Survey | |
| A Little About You | |
| Name?: | Amy. |
| Age?: | 19. |
| How old do you act?: | Sometimes 80, sometimes 9. |
| Gender?: | Female. |
| Do you take on the stereotypical role of your gender?: | More so than not, I'm sure. |
| Sexual orientation?: | Heterosexual. |
| Are you a religious or spiritual person?: | Spiritual. I put together beliefs of various religions that just feel right, that just fit. |
| What religion do you follow?: | By default growing up in this culture, I've got Christian elements, but I think intuitively I lean towards most Eastern religions. |
| Zodiac sign?: | Taurus. I fit the Earth concept but not the shallow interpretation of materialism and selfishness. |
| Do you even believe in astrology?: | No. All the people born in May with me do not act like me, and I barely fit my astrological description. |
| Are you an introvert or extrovert?: | Introvert, but I can pretend Extrovert if necessary. |
| Righty or lefty?: | Righty for writing and drawing, but I'm "double-handed" and do a lot of activities with either hand. |
| Which is more important to you; logic or faith?: | Faith. Intuition and feelings . . . |
| Do you believe in aliens, ghosts, or anything paranormal?: | Yes, but I don't have particularly concrete interpretations of them. I think one can "feel" death, for instance . . . |
| Questions To Make You Think | |
| How do you want to die?: | I want to be killed doing something I think is right or important, and fade away imparting some last words of wisdom to all present loved ones. |
| When you die, would you rather be alone, or with those you love?: | Those I love. It'd be so tragic to die alone; I'm sure I'd hate it, but at the moment I'd probably just indulge in the tragedy and that would be that . . . |
| Do you cry a lot?: | Yes; more so than practically anyone else I know. |
| How can people tell if you're lying?: | I blush. It's obvious. Danny has a lot to work on. |
| Do you talk more with verbal language... or body language?: | Verbal. We hear it all the time in Improv. It comes with having the gift of eloquence; you lose nonverbability (ha ha, new word). I'm also very nonphysical, in general. |
| How do you cope with depression?: | (How does one answer this if they're not depressed?) I write in livejournal, just to get it out. My worst posts are private. |
| How about stress?: | Make lists and work it out in an organized fashion-- or bite things and throw them and scream and curse when I'm absolutely nuts. Then I calm down and do the list thing. |
| Anger?: | Revert it back in on myself and make it depression. |
| Jealousy?: | Revert it back in on me and make it depression . . . |
| Do friends "happen", or do you "choose" your friends?: | I'll go the Daoist take, on this one; one becomes the person that would best be a friend to a worthy friend, and the friends came to one. |
| What makes a good friend?: | Good friends understand one another and love one another unconditionally. They are never ashamed of themselves to the other. I also personally strive for emotional intimacy. |
| Do you consider yourself a good friend? Why or why not?: | I try to be, but sometimes I push too hard, I think, and become clingy. |
| What are you known for around school or work?: | Liking Harry Potter :-P |
| If you had to label yourself as anything, what would it be?: | Geek or nerd-- though it's more diluted, here at WashU; everyone's a geek or a nerd. |
| Are you... | |
| Secretive or open?: | Very, very open. I am the Queen of TMI. |
| Forgiving or ruthless?: | Forgiving, perhaps too much so. I forget to protect my own interests and emotions. |
| Dominant or submissive?: | Submissive. |
| Honest or a liar?: | Honest-- though I lie in small amounts to save people's feelings. I do the white lie thing. |
| Strict or laid back?: | I'm pretty anal. |
| Greedy or kind?: | (Isn't the opposite of greedy "giving" or "gregarious" or something?) It depends. I've been told I'm rather cheap, but I think it's frugal. It's not greed, though, either. |
| Open minded or close minded?: | Open-minded. |
| Comical or serious?: | Serious, predominantly, but I can be funny. It's like Peter's quote: "Melancholy men, of all others, are the most witty." |
| A fighter or a person that 'goes with the flow'?: | Fighter. Even as a kid, when we'd get in trouble, Tory'd already have finished her timeout and I'd still be screaming about the injustice-- because it was injustice, most time |
| Outspoken or quiet?: | It really depends on the situation. In new situations, I'm very quiet; with my friends, they ALWAYS know my opinions. |
| Rude or polite?: | Polite. I like to be tactful and make people feel at ease. |
| Do you... | |
| Smoke?: | Never. |
| Drink alcohol?: | Occasionally. |
| Take illegal drugs?: | Never. |
| Do well in school?: | I suppose. |
| Even give a shit about school?: | Yes. |
| Care what others think about you?: | Too much, clearly. I need to learn to stop that, as it keeps upsetting me. |
| Care about your looks a lot?: | More so now than I used to. It's helping me become more attached to my physical self, though, which does make me less of a clod :-P |
| Steal from people?: | No-- unless you count off of people's plates, when they're watching, and pretty much give me the go-ahead. |
| Talk about your problems when things are bugging you?: | Always. Lisa is my shrink :-P |
| Listen to your friend's problems?: | Always. Erm . . . I cross the line into nagging people into telling me them. |
| Take out your emotions on others?: | When I'm not capable of dealing with themselves, which is rare, but does happen. |
| Take out your emotions on others?: | (^ . . . ) |
| Trust others easily?: | Very much so. |
| Trust yourself?: | No. I like others to make decisions, and I second-guess myself all the time. |
| Move on easily?: | No. I have an insane memory. I never forget. Even if I forgive . . . |
| Some Random Things | |
| Name some of your fears.: | Dying without having done anything worthwhile, fulfillment. Tornados, atomic bombs, religious fanatics (particularly children), the number four, driving on highways, telephone |
| Name some of your pet peeves.: | Feet, doors not being shut, the "cold shoulder," a lot of anal and OCD-like things . . . |
| What's your favorite kind of weather?: | I really like strong storms, at the moment-- but I can appreciate most forms of weather. |

| How many of your friends do you consider "best" friends?: | Probably somewhere in the range of about five to six. |
| What pisses you off the most?: | That's really hard. I don't know . . . |
| What makes you happy?: | Little things-- but I strive for deeper fulfillments, which aren't really happinsses. |
| Who pisses you off the most?: | Repeating questions-- how about that? |
| Who makes you happy?: | . . . |

| What do you smell?: | The cheap plastic wood of my desk. |
| What do you hear?: | "Snow White Queen" by Evanescence. |

| What's bothering you?: | Feeling fat after dinner :-P |
| What are you emotions?: | Presently, pretty calm and content. That's very open to change, however. |
| Tell me everything that's on your mind.: | This is an order, and I resent that :-P |

| Besides filling out this survey, what are you doing?: | Listening to music. |
| What's on your desk?: | A computer, printer, lamp, CD case, headphones, fan, lots of books, random papers/posters/a program, a phone, a gnome, and two ducks. |

| Because I love you.: | Aww . . . You remind me of Valerie from V for Vendetta, then, I guess . . . |
| Oh, how's the weather?: | Decent; cold, at night, now, however. It was sunny and not windy, earlier, which was nice. |
| Glad to hear that. And now we're done.: | Fine . . . |
