What? It Was A Good Day?

You have an outstanding sense of responsibility, love, and balance. You are helpful and inclined to comfort those in need. You have many artistic and creative talents, but you only use them to better others. You are loving, friendly, and appreciative of others. You have a depth of understanding that produces much kindness and generosity. Openness and honesty are apparent in your approach to all relationships. Sometimes, you can be too demanding of yourself. At times, you tend to sacrifice yourself for the welfare of others. At other times, you have trouble distinguishing between helping and interfering. |
| You Date Like a Woman |
![]() According to studies on dating, you date like a woman. You tend to take romance seriously, and you're not really out for a fling. A mental and emotional connection always comes first for you. And rushing the physical stuff is likely to turn you off. You're highly selective when it comes to dating, and some may say you're too picky. You know what you want, and when you find it, you're ready to commit. |
Makes sense.
So, today went from rather bad to pretty good, actually.
I slept all the way through the night, being so sick ("You didn't even wake up to use the bathroom, once!" Lisa remarked, in awe, this morning . . . ). Yeah, Nyquil. I slept through Japanese, as I had intended. I woke up with an aching pain in my head, but feeling less feverish. Plus, I had my Linguistics Examination, so I had to carry on.
Danny walked me to Linguistics, since his first class was also at 11:30, and his classroom was in that general direction, too. As for the examination . . . well, let's just say I'd be lucky if I was positive on even three of those answers. All I need is something that doesn't pull my grade below a 60-- and I'm even worried . . .
(I didn't even get to draw trees )-: it was a scantron . . . )
So then I read the readings for Japanese Literature (The Confessions of Lady Nijou-- more angst. Really, most classical Japanese literature takes the form of the average Xanga . . . ), and participated fairly well, in class, in spite of my aching head. There was some drama as Professor Brecher decided to openly and anonymously critique our papers "in general" at the end of class-- there needed to be less quotes (oh, I could kill Writing I, for teaching me that, when I never used to do it, before!), more specific topics of argumentation, etc-- but it all turned out alright when I got my paper back and realized I had actually gotten a 92%. Woot! So, I guess maybe there's a hope that I get an A-, at least, in one of my classes. Good God dammit, lol . . .
In Japanese, I was really worried, as I had such a headache. It was really unfortunate, I realized, that it was two memorized-conversation-involving "ACT" classes. Yet I did pretty well-- very well, possibly, in fact. Michellanne was all like, "Yoku dekimashita, nee!" and Aridome-sensei even came up to me, after class, as I was waiting for Danny, and patted me on the shoulder and said, "You're doing really very well. Keep that up!" So . . . woot!
(So maybe perhaps I should have gone to the morning ACT class, too, after all . . . /-: . . . )
I am posting scores from the STALKER SURVEY here:
Danny: Hard-Working Stalker (74). Yes, having a small bladder is of great pride . . . and Those blue things with holes in them that I don’t know the name of and I know those aren’t technically your sneakers but they are footwear and I need to put something down since I don’t think before I’d finish this you’re going to be going to the bathroom so that I could sneak a peak into your closet unobserved and Lisa would see me anyway. Wow. (He doesn't list my talent as Improv . . . ).
*Ten Seconds Later.* Danny: " . . . Oh! You drive a jeep!"
Note to everyone: Danny
