GOD I HATE PHONES!!!

I hate phones.

I get called by Lisa in the middle of Cognitive Psychology (at least it was my softer, "The Story Continues" ringtone . . . ), my network cuts out in the middle of our conversation afterward, I have a hell of a time trying to reach her when I can't find the keys, my network cuts out when I try to call Peter so it doesn't even go through to him, when I call back a few minutes later (when the network is back in) Lisa calls me back in the middle of the message, with the damn beeping call-waiting, so Peter gets this message that's rather like, "Hi, Peter, it's Amy; I can help at the Activities Fair, but not the whole time, because I just have too much work to do today, what with all the tryouts tonight, and everything, so is there a better--" *BEEP* "Wha--? Huh? Uh--?" *HANG UP.* Yeah . . .

God, I hate phones.

I should go do some Japanese Literature reading. Also, probably, some Cognitive Psychology reading. Also some Abnormal Psychology reading. After all, I am going to Kansas City this weekend (and I have to miss the new Freshmen in Improv )-:).

So I still don't know what I am doing with this whole Activities Fair thing.

. . . and I still didn't get my package today, from France (um, via Elkhart, but, hey . . . ). )-:

Do you remember the days before cell phones? I remember the days before cell phones. Now, in a long distance relationship and all, I certainly won't want to go back to them ... but sometimes, just sometimes, they're nice to reminisce about.

I'm hoping Internet makes telephones obsolete. Soon. I just don't like them . . . Thank God for Internet . . .
