Peace Day and Songs and Icon Memes

HAPPY PEACE DAY!!!

Hmm . . . better go shoot my mouth off in a Hiroshima-based chat room, as per tradition. For some reason this snuck up on me . . . I didn't realize this until about noon . . . I fail at life . . .

In other news (mostly relevant for Tiffany and Jessica) I have been obsessing with Finale Notepad and have composed a little something for the von Brandt story/soundtrack-- the bit where Mariel is in the organ, and Reginald is playing. I made Zigana's instrument the recorder, so she's sort of like Alannah's flute, and it's very haunting and sweet. We can change it if that wasn't what it was . . . but it works for now. Anyway, the song has recorder, viola, and organ-- and let's just say the violist needs to be FREAKING HARDCORE-- but it's a cool song, I think :-P sort of a haunting, slow waltz with a driving undertone beneath the theme . . . you'll just have to hear it, lol . . .

The LJ interest I found most entertaining of yours was "variations on 'fuck.'" So here you go :-P


Not terrible exciting, but that's me being an icon-maker, lol . . . and I had to put "fuck a duck" on there, because our French exchange student was "most fond of it" of all his "bad expressions" he learned here in the States. (I don't even know what it means O.o)

Oh, good choice. I actually have a "Fuck!" icon, seen here ... it's just such a useful, versatile word, you know? I'll save yours to my hard drive in case I ever need to replace this icon. Thank you!
