Katzenland is a WORLD BENCHMARK (and not just "Excellent" or "Superb") on Political Freedoms (and still has a "weak" economy, lol . . . ).

Helga Hufflepuff and Godric Gryffindor are on Facebook. People want Regulus to be a Hufflepuff and a Gryffindor, and to Spread Lupus Awareness (would it be awkward to have Remus Lupin be in that group? Back in the day wasn't Lupus mistaken for lycanthropy and that was why it was called Lupus? Or am I crazy?), and to Hate The Rainforest. I keep telling that one to go away. Regulus does not hate the rainforest.

(I am just checking all my onlineness besides livejournal after being Internet-undisposed for . . . way too long, lol . . . )

Tory got home late on Saturday night (just after I was writing that last crazy entry, lol . . . ). She enjoyed camp; she wants to work there, next year, and wants me to come, too.

The house suddenly seems much more crowded. Neil has been sleeping out in the tent, because he does not want to share a room with both Tory and I, and we're keeping him (gladly) out of Alexandre's room. Neil keeps trying to get Alexandre to sleep in the tent with him, going so far as to steal his pillow to put in the tent *for him.* So then at 2:00 am when Tory, Alexandre, and I finally decide to go to bed-- which is about five hours after Neil has gone to bed, lol-- Alexandre's like, "Uhh . . . could I borrow a pillow?" This has now happened at least two nights in a row, lol . . .

On Sunday, we celebrated two birthdays, my Dad's (the 21st-- he turned 50) and Tiffany (the 23rd-- she turned 19). Papa and Jana came up to the lake and we drank the champagne Alexandre brought from France to celebrate (and I have a great picture of my dad just looking so, so happy over a glass of champagne, with the lake in the background-- the perfect way to enter into 50, for him). Then I went into town around dinnertime to meet Tiffany, who drove up the six hours to come and see Jessica, Jamie, and I for her birthday. We went out to eat at Hacienda, and then hung out at my house and had a generally good (if not digressing, lol :-P) time ^_^ we took lots of ridiculous pictures, too.

Apparently I take too many pictures. I like it, because it gives my memory a rest (but maybe I will wear it out, and it will become lazy?). Yet a few days ago Alexandre kept spazzing about me taking them (he never complained before), like "No! No photo!" and I was like, "But we want pictures to remember you by and you need some to send home!" Anyway, when I was taking a picture of him and Neil chilling in the tent, they both attacked me, held me down, and took pictures of me. It was kind of funny . . . but the pictures were useless, and Neil was aiming for the blanket I was sitting on instead of me for most of them, lol . . .

Yesterday Tiffany came up later in the day (after I had driven Neil into tuba, accompanied by Tory-- and we saw Maria's adorable little kittens! OMG!!!), and we went tubing-- and tore up our elbows, for some reason-- and then took everybody out and had a sort of weird noodle-fight in the middle of the lake (interesting fact: those spongy tubes you float in the water, which we call noodles, are called "fries" in France). Then everybody got suddenly very, very tired. I think it might have had something to do with Neil screaming that Alexandre tried to murder him by shoving him under the water-- honestly, Neil is so pathetic; he really needs someone to be rough with him more often. He's such a pansy, lol . . . I'm sort of glad Alexandre managed to rugburn his face :-P So we paid Neil off to be quiet for the rest of the afternoon (see the measures which we have to resort to?), and Tiffany and I just sat around sunbathing and chatted. I got quite a little bit burnt, actually.

Then, when my dad got home, everyone was woken out of their sleeping/loafing state, and Alexandre, Tiffany, Dad, and I went sailing on the Hobie Cat (catamaran)-- which has to be about its 5th or 6th time out this year, after being used not at all, last year! It wasn't the best/craziest wind, like that day with Kristina, but it was a nice ride, and we rode out on the runners and had lots of fun.

Tiffany had to head in after dinner, but I'll probably see her before the end of the summer, because she, Jessica, hopefully Jamie, and I are planning to go to the Renaissance fair we went to last year. Tiffany's working diligently on costumes, and I'm so excited about mine-- I look like Juliet in the 1968 movie! The dress is more maroon than red, but it's about the same style, just less ornate. I even get a little cap, and I'm going to do my hair in that little tied-braid think like she does. I'm so excited! Tiffany, Jessica, and Jamie all will have dresses the same basic style, but the colors and details are different: Tiffany's is silver with a gauzy cape and Jessica's is blue with a gauze veil from the cap, and they have different sleeves from Jamie and I (we have little gauze poufs at the elbow, and the forearm is like laced up)-- and Jamie's dress is green.

Hokay, so . . . I think I need to finish up onlineness and maybe start working on Lumos! Owls, because there is no way in Hell the Puffs can back down at this point.
