Handwriting Analysis and Surveys
For a graphologist, the spacing on the page reflects the writer's attitude toward their own world and relationship to things in his or her own space. If the inputted data was correct Amy has left some white space on the left side of the paper. Amy fills up the rest of the page in a normal fashion moving the entire writing rightward as she moves down the page. If this is true, then Amy has a healthy relationship to the past and is ready to move on. The right side of the page represents the future and Amy is ready and willing to get started living now and planning for the future. Amy is leaving the past behind and moving on to what she perceives as an exciting and enticing future. Pretty much true, at this point in my life, at least ^_^
Amy is selective when picking friends. She does not trust everyone. She has a select group of people that are truly close to her, usually two or three. She is careful when choosing her inner circle of friends. Yes, definitely, by nature.
Amy is sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect her ego when she feels hurt. She pokes people harder than she gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time. Not really. I am not actually particularly sarcastic. I am pretty sincere.
Amy's true self-image is unreasonably low. Someone once told Amy that she wasn't a great and beautiful person, and she believed them. Amy also has a fear that she might fail if she takes large risks. Therefore she resists setting her goals too high, risking failure. She doesn't have the internal confidence that frees her to take risks and chance failure. Amy is capable of accomplishing much more than she is presently achieving. All this relates to her self-esteem. Amy's self-concept is artificially low. Amy will stay in a bad situation much too long... why? Because she is afraid that if she makes a change, it might get worse. It is hard for Amy to plan too far into the future. She kind of takes things on a day to day basis. She may tell you her dreams but she is living in today, with a fear of making a change. No matter how loud she speaks, look at her actions. This is perhaps the biggest single barrier to happiness people not believing in and loving themselves. Amy is an example of someone living with a low self-image, because their innate self-confidence was broken. Hmm . . . sounds like me at my worst, yes . . .
In reference to Amy's mental abilities, she has a very investigating and creating mind. She investigates projects rapidly because she is curious about many things. She gets involved in many projects that seem good at the beginning, but she soon must slow down and look at all the angles. She probably gets too many things going at once. When Amy slows down, then she becomes more creative than before. Since it takes time to be creative, she must slow down to do it. She then decides what projects she has time to finish. Thus she finishes at a slower pace than when she started the project. She has the best of two kinds of minds. One is the quick investigating mind. The other is the creative mind. Her mind thinks quick and rapidly in the investigative mode. She can learn quicker, investigate more, and think faster. Amy can then switch into her low gear. When she is in the slower mode, she can be creative, remember longer and stack facts in a logical manner. She is more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip. Yeah, sounds like me ^_^
Amy is talkative. She enjoys talking and socializing. She may talk when there is absolutely nothing important to say. She enjoys speaking. Hell yeah!
Amy uses judgment to make decisions. She is ruled by her head, not her heart. She is a cool, collected person who is usually unexpressive emotionally. Some may see her as unemotional. She does have emotions but has no need to express them. She is withdrawn into herself and enjoys being alone. The circumstances when Amy does express emotions include: extreme anger, extreme passion, and tremendous stress. If someone gets her mad enough to tell her off, she will not be sorry about it later. She puts a mark in her mind when someone angers her. She keeps track of these marks and when she hits that last mark she will let them know they have gone too far. She is ruled somewhat by self-interest. All her conclusions are made without outside emotional influence. She is very level-headed and will remain calm in an emergency situation. In a situation where other people might get hysterical, she has poise. Amy will work more efficiently if given space and time to be alone. She would rather not be surrounded by people constantly. In a relationship, she will show her love by the things she does rather than by the things she says. Saying "I love you" is not a needed routine because she feels her mate should already know. The only exception to this is if she has logically concluded that it is best for her mate to hear her express her love verbally. Amy is not subject to emotional appeals. If someone is selling a product to her, they will need to present only the facts. They should present them from a standpoint of her sound judgment. She will not be taken in by an emotional story about someone else. She will meet emergencies without getting hysterical and she will always ask "Is this best for me?" At first thought, no-- but, well, I do maintain a relatively mature level of logic, I do believe. Yet I am not hard-headed; we all know this.
People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, Amy doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others. Okay, good, lol . . .
*Anger Section*
1. what do you do when you're mad
Vent. Usually I do this in livejournal or to another person, never to their face, becuase that will only make things worse, as, chances are, they are angry, too. Then I can face them, later, with mature, cleansed outlook.
2. what's the worst thing you've done when you were mad?
Venting on livejournal, lol . . .
3. ever made anyone cry when you were mad?
Yes, Tiffany, on several occasions . . . probably Tory, as well . . . O.o . . .
4. ever physically hurt someone when you were mad?
I am physically unable to hurt anyone. I might have tried, sure, but it just made me madder because it didn't work.
5. do you curse when you're mad?
Oh, yes, definitely.
*Crying Section*
1. when was the last time you really cried your heart out?
Cried my heart out? Hmm . . . not since I left school, certainly, and probably a while back before then. It's hard to truly cry in college; people are always around, able to look at you.
2. ever cried yourself to sleep?
Oh, certainly. In fact, that is one of the places it is safe to cry at at college :-P
3. ever cried on your friend's shoulder?
Yes. I find this helpful as long as we are both in private.
4. do you cry when you get an injury?
I haven't had a bad one in a while, but I still did to a late age-- but they were bad injuries. I don't cry over papercuts, but, hell, when my appendix explodes . . . actually, I didn't cry then; scratch that . . . lol . . .
5. do certain songs make you cry?
Yes, particularly when I am in the mood. I even cried at a song today, a song I didn't even know, just because the guy who sang it sang so beautifully and it was a sad background to a song, lol . . . and, well, I sort of wished I could sing like that, only as, like, a soprano or an alto, or something, lol . . .
*Pain Section*.
1. what's the worst thing you've done to somebody else??
I really couldn't say. Is my hiding my frustration at some people harmful? If that is the case, then, certainly, that is the most harmful.
2. how depressed can you get?
Pretty darn depressed. I'm not depressed all the time, but when I do get depressed, I go down . . . I cry, mostly. Yes, a couple of times I have contemplated suicide, but then I always talk myself out of it by convincing myself that I'd just hurt everybody else if I died and I'm not that selfish.
*Happy Section*
1. are you normally a happy person?
This is a hard question. I tend towards the seeming melancholy, but I reflect happiness back to other people. I am optimistic for the big picture, which is a sort of happiness, but minorly pessimistic.
2. what can make you happy?
Friends. Achievement of little personal goals. Moments of beauty and meaning.
3. do you wish you were happier?
Don't we all? Hope springs eternal. Yet I'm awfully thankful for what I've got.
4. what about being with your friends, does that make u happy?
I just said that . . .
*Love Section*.
1. have you ever loved someone so much, that you'd die for them?
Potentially. It's hard to say. I'd like to think I would. Yet I am not facing death, and, well, I seem to throw my life around pretty meaninglessly, anyway, so maybe this doesn't have any meaning . . .
2. did you ever love a person, and tell him/her that you love him/her?
I am open with my friends and family. I have trouble with the romance bits; I don't seem to be able to say it until after the fact: the past-tense, "I loved you."
3.have U loved someone so much, it made you cry?
Yeah.
4.has anyone besides your friends and family ever said 'i love you' to you?
I guess in jest. Anyone who would say this to me I would consider my friend . . .
*Hate Section*
1. have you ever been on a hate list?
Not that I am aware of. I think Lindsey might have burned me in effigy, but, eh . . .
2.have you ever hated any one that broke your heart?
The only people you can truly hate are those you once loved. Those who I have hated (and it has faded, thankfully) were those I once trusted.
3. do you hate Bush?
At this point, I really don't give a damn, actually; I'm quite shocked at myself. He's gone tragic-hero, and I'm just waiting for him to get out so I can write his tragedy already.
*Self-Esteem Section*
1. is your self-esteem extremely low?
I certainly show some signs that it is, and I lack some confidence in some things-- mostly social-- but, for the most part, I think I am pretty self-actualized. I just tend to be self-effacing, anyway; we have to keep into account my bizarre inherent Japanese cultural bias :-P
2.do you believe in yourself?
For the most part. I know I can't do everything, but I can trust myself to be aware of things to the extent I need myself to be aware, and to stand by my own values and be true to myself.
3.when people say they think you are good looking/pretty, do you deny you are?
I either thank them in a shocked voice while blushing and grinning meekly, or go, "Oh, no, I'm not!" and blush and turn away-- depending on the circumstance.
4. are you one of those idiots that think they are ugly, dumb, and fat?
No, though I do stress out about the looks thing to some extent.
5. ever wanted to kill yourself cuz you thought you weren't good enough?
I've only ever wanted to kill myself because: life was going badly, I was scared of big changes ahead, or I had no friends. I thought I was perfectly good enough; everyone else just didn't seem to think so :-P
6.are you happy with who you are?
Yeah, I think I pretty much am. There are some things I'd like to change or see happen, but, hey, what else is the rest of life for? Lol . . .
RED
1. Are you currently mad at someone?
Not really; perhaps a little annoyed, but not mad.
2. Which of your friends has the worst temper?
Keith and Tiffany both can be pretty explosive. One punches walls, and one punches me O.o Lol . . .
3. Have you ever thrown something at anyone?
Yes, but not so angrily. Maybe once or twice, but it did nothing, as I am weak, lol . . .
4. Does your face turn red when you're angry?
Yes, but just in the cheeks and sometimes nose.
5. When you're mad do you prefer to stare angrily or yell/scream?
It depends on what the object of my anger is doing, and where they stand in authority. I scream at my equals and inferiors; to parents, teachers, officials-- I can only stare in agony.
ORANGE
1. Has anyone ever thrown you a suprise party?
Kind of. I was surprise-kidnapped and walked to a Japanese restaurant for a surprise birthday dinner! ^_^
2. Are you easily excited?
Yes. I am sway to the passions of life!
3. What event is coming up that your most excited about?
Memorial Day weekend; Tiffany is coming, and perhaps Robert, too. It will also supposedly be 80 degrees out-- woot!!!
4. Which of your friends is most exciteable?
Me. Lol . . .
5. If you won a million dollars what would be your first thought?
"Since when? I am not this lucky. I thought winning that breakfast at that world-record-breaking game of Simon Says was the rest of my luck for this lifetime!!!"
YELLOW
2. Where were you born?
Elkhart, IN.
3. What's your main goal in life?
To be remembered-- to be published, to be loved, to be remembered . . .
4. Do you want to have children?
Yes.
5. How do you want to die?
Either young and fighting for a cause, or old, and satisfied, and loved ^_^
GREEN
1. Sex before marriage?
I would have said no not too long ago, but now I'm pretty sure that's not probably going to happen. After all, at this rate, I am not going to be married before I am 50, lol . . .
2. Gay Marriage?
Hell yes! Not for me, but, well, for those who wish it, of course!
3. Lowering the drinking age?
No. It's not like it matters, anyway.
4. Capital Punishment?
Nope. Do something constructive with that labor.
5. Abortion?
Make it legal but socially discourage it. It's the only way to make these things work, and we have to err on the side of freedom. I will write you an essay on it, if you like-- I did, already, for my Problems in Philosophy final, lol . . .
6. Recycling?
Yes, yes, yes. Lisa will eat my face, otherwise, lol . . .
BLUE
1. What was your latest dream?
I have had a dream soap-opera lately; they keep being sequels to one another, which is weird, for me. Lately, I have been quarantined to a dorm at WashU due to the recent hurricane. Keith and Lisa went scuba-diving. Park burned down, and Lauren Freve (???) was in it.
2. Which of your friends do you dream about the most?
Lately, Lisa, Keith, and Michellanne have shown up the most.
3. Have any of your dreams come true?
A few.
4. Do you usually remember your dreams?
Yes, most times.
5. What was the weirdest dream you've ever had?
They are all weird!!! Normal dreams (ie: falling, being chased, being naked in my school cafeteria, taking a test, etc . . . ) are weird, for me! Lol . . .
PURPLE
1. Straight, Gay, Bi?
Straight. Maybe open to experimentation, but pretty darn straight. Lol, as Alice and I were discussing, it could be hot to be a lesbian, but, well, it's really not a choice, lol-- I just can't bring myself to be sexually attracted to girls :-P
2. do you have a bf/gf?
Nope.
3. Do you have a crush?
Sure.
4. Who is the best "hugger" that you know?
I hug a decent amount. Nichole and Tiffany, too.
5. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Not really. My impressions of people are never the same upon first meeting them, hardly ever.
6. Have you ever been in love?
Sure.
