Okay, back from Yale. One conclusion: Yale=Hogwarts.

They have houses-- there are 12 houses, though, but hey. So while Mom and Dad and I were giggling about that, the guy (who was really awesome and charismatic; it was a great presentation) said something about there being house elves in the basement to do the initial sorting of students into reject and acceptance piles. Plus the tower of one building looks like the tower of Hogwarts they always show. This is cool.

Not that I am going to get INTO Yale . . . but hey. If I do, I will go Harry Potter crazy.

Erm . . . not that I won't anyway.

You know what? Lola and Maria are like the most common names in songs. Think about it.

Dad nearly killed us as we drove. He kept getting mad and speeding up. It was kind of scary. He's been in a really bad mood all weekend.

Where did we get this song from? I like it . . . but where did it come from???

Anyone want to practice Japanese with me? I'm really rusty. I need to bone up for the Japanese SAT II.

Freddy, maybe? There's a lot of '50s Freddys . . . and Johnnys, too. Ooh, I heard a song the other day with the name Norman . . . I just about died laughing . . . for some reason Norman just doesn't sound like the type of guy you would sing about.

I think girls just are generic with names, maybe. We just say, "Baby."

All I know is that Amy shows up in one song . . . "Amie(it's not even spelled right), what you wanna do?" . . . Christina is listed in a random long list of names (most very ethnically African-American-- like Tinesha) in the song "Freak-A-Leak," I do believe . . . don't ask me why I remember this . . . and Erin . . . are there songs about Erin? Maybe if they're about Ireland? I did a parody about Hermione once, so you have that, too . . . lol.

I like futons.
