Writer's Block: Three-day weekend

It depends on how the week before it has been going. If I've been really stressed out, I'll take the third day to decompress, to sleep in and have some much-needed *doing nothing* time. This was how I usually felt during college, especially this past year (the deadly combination of student-teaching and thesis), when having a day with more than the usual number of non-class hours in it meant that I could actually afford to use a couple of them watching TV or napping.
However, if my regular schedule has been more boring and daily grind than on-my-toes stress, a mini-vacation couldn't be better. I feel like that's more the case now, where my actual daily job is far from stressful and I rarely have work to take home. Plus-- I'm in Japan. I'm going to want to get all the heck over the place since I'm here and there's things to see.
That said, I do not have a three-day weekend right now, all you Labor Day-ers. I just got done with Monday's work. However, I do have a lovely five-day weekend two weeks from now. Silver Week FTW!
