Sleep, really. You can give me all the tea with lemon, chicken noodle soup, and vitamin C you want, but all I really want is to be able to just stay home and sleep it off.
That said, I'll take some hot tea-- mint, lemon, or a spiced tea like chai-- chicken noodle soup, and an orange or some orange juice after I wake up. When I'm feeling well enough I'm actually hungry, spicy foods (so I can actually taste the flavor) are good-- especially if they're so hot they help clear out my sinuses! If I need help getting to sleep, I'll take Nyquil. A hot bath or shower in there also helps me feel cleaner, fresher, and less sick.
