Though-- Danny sent me this video, and it prompted a discussion about amorality and awareness of morality-- this actually offends me less than it could have. I think I am actually bothered more by people who know something is wrong and then do it anyway than people who just absolutely don't think what they are doing is wrong. However, I think someone needs to teach these two a little about, you know, the presence of other human beings. I wish there were less people in the world like this, but I think my generation more than any other in history is more like this. Blame society or whatever-- I don't want to have to be stuck with peers with this sort of thought process for my entire little run around this universe.
Actually, lol, in my really hardcore Hogwarts House Sorting system, these two would pretty much epitomize Slytherins. No one exists but the personal self, which one is perpetually serving-- and no one else-- all the time. If you took everyone who thought like this and stuck them in a little commune together, it would work out just fine; everyone's out for himself, so if you get shafted by someone, you really can't hold it against him because you'd do the same thing.
