HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NICHOLE!!!

Yesterday was a lot of fun. I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked, but it was alright because I didn't end up doing all that much that required awake-concentration, anyway. I tried wearing the black dress of Mom's that she passed on to me yesterday, coupled with the silk scarf Tiffany made for me tied as a belt, and it was met with compliments (woot!). Lisa, Michellanne, and I went to Target at about 1:00, stopping at Blockbuster and driving past a walking Keith on his way to Walgreens, lol . . . I just got some stuff I needed, plus Part I of Michellanne's makeup mission for me-- since I own barely any makeup, she's been assisting me. I'm just-- as Tiffany has noted when doing the same thing with clothing shopping-- extremely cheap :-P Hey, I'm a college student.

Lisa and I also got Keith his birthday gift, a DVD of Children of Men since Henry, Keith, and I had been talking about liking it/wanting to see it just the day before-- which I wrapped in the Student Life article on cute rainboots (which was incidentally published the day I got my rainboots in the mail-- and it full-out rained for the first time!), which Keith totally mistook for actual wrapping paper for a moment :-P Lisa and I had also gotten cupcakes for Keith, but then we found out afterwards that his parents had actually ordered him a cake.

Lisa and I had quartet in the afternoon, and then we all went to dinner at Center Court-- Keith, Henry, Patricia, Michellanne, Sarah, the other Amy, Lisa, and Joe.

Not too long after, Keith, Henry, Patricia, and I went to see Blades of Glory. It was good-- very funny. Patricia liked it, which is relatively unexpected considering Patricia and Will Ferrell movies typically don't mix. They did play my least favorite song in the universe during it (but at least it was mocking it, in a way :-P)-- which, incidentally, is the first song I heard this millennium (oh, I am cursed!), but there was also a part where a women asks one of them a question in Japanese and he answers, and I understood what was said and it made me very happy ^_^

After that, we had the "birthday party" for Keith. Henry, Anu, Lisa, Patricia, Michellanne, Joe, Linda, and Mimi all came by the guys' suite and most partook in the delicious cake. It didn't last very long, but it was nice."

Oh, and I got credit for the man-bitch Psychology experiment. I'm really confused. He clearly made a mistake, but I wouldn't complain except that I worry the mistake might get remedied. Part of me is paranoid that that was the experiment, seeing my angry reaction-- but they have to tell you what you're getting into before you sign up for an experiment, and debrief you afterwards . . . so, um. . . do I report this? Lol . . .

Tory comes tomorrow! Woot! It's like the most stressful week ever, but, meh!

I'm going outside to read my Japanese Literature readings in the sunshine. It's such a beautiful day! ( . . . and it's supposed to get colder this week /-:)
