Tornado Watch And Such
Apr. 3rd, 2007 11:51 amSo there are storm clouds brewing, faintly grey and layered and swirling about rather quickly outside. They're swirling so much that as I was running between classes, I was like, "Gee, it looks almost like tornado weather."
I just checked weather.com and we have a Tornado Watch.
I'd be excited about the storminess, since we've been lacking-- and I was even smart and wore my rainboots today. Yet, um, Tory is flying in today . . .
Then again, the storms look to be over in a couple hours. Please let everything be okay!
I could have this conversation in Japanese, assuming the word for tornado is "toneedo." We actually have our memorized conversation for Japanese today as how it is storming outside . . . and the person is like, "Uh, is it okay if I leave my window open?"
