So things have been pretty good since Monday. Yesterday Keith gave me a ride in Lisa's car to Hi-Tec Copy so that I didn't have to walk all the way there ^_^ After that, I had Improv, which was crazy but amazing. Basically, we started doing what was like an organic opening, I guess, where we follow each other's leads in different directions, all contributing to a main theme. It started out just literal following, and turned into an hour-long thing. We somehow started "talking" to John's embittered penis, who suggested we go get Breyer's raspberry ice cream and oreos. We all ran off to "find" some, bringing back everything from detergent to fire extinguishers to a yellow highlighter-- and actual raspberry sorbet and oreos, compliments of Rick and his mad running skills. Then we sat around at the table and ate, talking about what was good and bad about our weeks. In the end, it turned into a set, which, though a little odd, felt better since we had had so much random togetherness that we were like *mind-meld.*
Today was my easy class day, and though I don't think I did very well on the Fact Quiz in Japanese today, at least I think I did better than I thought I would. (Seventeen ways to request something? Jeez . . . ). Lunch was nice today as I talked a lot with Michellanne, and then got into a heated discussion about religion and politics with Lara and Kiwi. The thing about the heated conversation, however, is that we were mostly actually agreeing, lol . . . It's such a change from the Elkhart community, where I'm in the minority when it comes to opinions on these things /-: After Japanese literature, I followed Jessy to Hilltop and had a chocolate bagel while she had a ham and cheese sandwich, and we talked about Harry Potter and fanfiction and ships. Lots of interesting discussions! Lol . . .
