Colts to the Superbowl
Jan. 22nd, 2007 04:17 pmSo the Colts are going to the Superbowl. Woot. *Momentary Indiana pride.*
Not that I watched a single other game this season. Not that I even care about sports (that's Neil the Alien Sports Child's job, in our family :-P). Yet it's still exciting because it's my home state which sucks at just about everything except corn, racecars, and limestone. Some people (in Indiana) think we're part of the South, and we haven't even got the largest population of Amish in the country. We deserve something, sometime, because we certainly don't get the 1/50th of the country's attention we rightfully deserve.
Plus I'm also excited because there's going to be a Superbowl party in Keith and Henry's suite, if Patricia gets it together. I really quite like sports parties; even though I barely watch the game (though I will of course watch the ads in the Superbowl-- and probably more of the game, this year, considering), I like the high energy and the abundance of salty snacks :-P
