The "First Day Of Summer" And Various Accompanying Moods

Today has been interesting, full of ups (like the summery weather and the first-time-of-the-year tubing, and never having fallen off the whole entire time!) and lows (like my period and a couple of tense moments with Tiffany).

It was definitely continuing on with the summer theme. Tiffany came up late last night (just as my grandparents were leaving), and we most had break time-- sort of just hanging out side-by-side, in each other's company but not really talking (it's an introvert thing :-P though sometimes I feel terrible because I feel, as a hostess, I should be entertaining my guests, etc . . . ). I played SIMs 2 and she read and listened to HBP on CD.

Today we sunbathed a lot (I am getting tan! Woot!), helped Dad get some boat stuff set up, and then went tubing. It was just Tiffany and I (and my dad driving the boat), so we could only go one at a time because someone always had to observe. Tiffany went first and fell off (there were some bad-crazy waves!), and then I went, and nearly suffered whiplash as I went flying everywhere over these crazy hills and valleys of waves (I was singing "Defying Gravity" from Wicked, too, the entire time, lol-- so that was ironic, lol :-P I always have to sing when I tube, lol . . . ). Tiffany went again, and fell off again, but then got on . . . and fell off again . . . and then I went for a short time again, but this time, Dad stopped me, again; I never fell off the whole, entire time! Woot!

Then, we came back in (Tiffany rode it in, and didn't fall off, that time, lol . . . ), and, by that time, I had gotten my period (great), and very little else makes you want to run around in a swimsuit less than cramps, bloating, and tampons.

So I have been just hanging out for a while, now-- online while Tiffany plays SIMs 2, now, lol . . . Pretty soon, however, we are going back into town to pick up Jessica and bring her up here, so we can have our Crazy Night of Roleplaying Our Story some more, which is so rare, now, these days, lol . . .

Even though I can't enjoy it anymore, now, for another week (I go in back to town tomorrow or pretty soon on the day after, and, well, I just don't want to do anything with my period, and all )-:), it's nice that it's finally summer, here, now-- and that almost makes up for the fact that there is almost absolutely no technology, up here, lol :-P The weather is great, the water is almost warm enough (well, warm enough if you've been sitting out in the sun all day, and you're looking for something nice and fine and refreshing! Lol . . . :-P), and all of the boats are in!

Everyone is of course welcome to come and visit me and share it with me!

*Looking outside* Hmm . . . a storm seems to be a-brewin' . . . this could be fun! Woot!
