Stupid People
Feb. 10th, 2006 03:37 pmSheesh, a nice little lady weighing 37 pounds and with a Spanish surname under miraculous conditions gives birth to a baby, and you get slop like this in response to it: AOL Message Boards
I guess there's not a whole amount of terribly interesting stuff to talk about in reference to it--"God Bless The New Baby!" does get old-- but calling her a freak (for an inborn condition), him a freak (for actually loving a woman based on her personality and because of and in spite of her nontraditional looks, and, *gasp* having sexual relations with her), and assuming the two of them are naturally illegal aliens (and making wonderfully *insightful* comments about it) just because of their names is-- to fight fire with fire-- "retarded and gay, man." Plus-- WTF about the rants about Jewish people? WTF???
I don't really like the setup of the new messageboard system, anyway. It's in no real coherent order, and it's threaded all wrong. You can't even find the initial posts (the ones titled on the lists) in the threads; I tried to do my traditional Hiroshima rant last year, and I couldn't even find my own responses to things!
Anyway, people make me want to smack them, sometimes. A lot of times, actually. People in masses are annoying. I prefer them individually, on a one-to-one basis. People in crowds tend to act dumb.
