Goodbye and Final Sights and Meaningful Songs (lol)

I saw a lot of people for the *last* time today. From here on out, any chance we have to see each other is a stroke of luck, an anomaly, a special treat. I can no longer take seeing their faces for granted.

I don't have much more to say. It's late. Today was a good day . . . just . . . sort of sad, and bittersweet. The news about Jamie really didn't help make it less subdued . . . I really hope she's okay, that it's all just a false alarm. Still, she's screwed for her first week of school. That utterly SUCKS.

Coming home from dropping Nichole and Kristina off for the last time, I sort of flipped around through the stations, trying to find a meaningful song (since I'm a sap like that, and all, lol . . . )-- Delilah's usually pretty good for that (*gasp, eye-roll, lol . . . *), but she failed-- and up popped Freak-A-Leak. Heh. My meaningful song gets to be Freak-A-Leak. The thing is, it's not even that far off. We had a whole joke about it, today . . . and Kristina gets mentioned in it, lol . . .

My roomate still hasn't emailed me back . . . this makes things difficult . . . hmm . . .
