I have finished cleaning up my room!
. . . well, almost. Tiffany and Jessica can tell you there are some pretty messy drawers . . . BUT THE BED AND THE CLOSET AND THE FLOOR ARE CLEAN, AND THAT IS WHAT MATTERS TO MOM!!! Lol . . .
They sat and talked to me on the bed, the island that was the sea in the cleaning, as I worked, lol . . . that is how desperate for time I am.
Tiffany and I then went shopping for school clothes-- well, sort of. I was her Barbie doll, and she dressed me up, lol . . . ("I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world; it's made of plastic, it's fantastic! You can brush my hair, undress me anywhere . . . " Only not, lol . . . ). She didn't buy anything, I don't think-- but that was partially because the store was almost closing, and my check was having issues, and she was tired after having run to the ATM at the middle of the store and back, lol . . .
I got this dusty purple top that is sort of woven and cool, one of those sweaters with the cuffed shirt bits sewed in on the collar and the sleeves (once again, in purple, and with a flowered pattern that reminds me of the 1960s on the shirt), and a black shirt that is straightforward but in a nice cut (and was really cheap, lol). I also got this cute, well, outfit, really-- there were this pink-and-black pinstripe pants, with little bows on the pockets, that remind me of my prom dress, lol, and I got a matching pink-and-white pinstripe dress shirt to go with it. The pants would also look good with a couple other pink tops I have, too, and the numerous pink (and pink and black) shoes I have this year. I am a symphony in pink and black, lol . . . it's a nice combination (sexy and sweet! Lol-- wow that was dumb), really; I like it. I also got an awesome pair of jeans THAT ACTUALLY FIT AND ARE COMFORTABLE!!! Lol . . . they're dark, too, so that I can wear them several days a week without anyone noticing . . .
I now own two pairs of jeans. Woot! Lol . . . I'm so serious. It's crazy.
We (for reference, so you can see the neat effect this lj-connection had, Tiffany--
tarmetiel-- and I--
tabular_rasa) had purposely gone to Concord Mall so that we could carry on to Meijer to find Jessica (
gemma_thompson) when we were done, lol . . . So we went looking for her in the Home Department, but we couldn't find her (we were going to do the "BOTHER!!!" business). So Tiffany actually got her PAGED. Yes, seriously. I was so worried she was going to freak out and think she was in trouble . . .
Yet she showed up . . . and with Katie (
hedgemaster)!!! It was crazy! So Tiffany and Katie knew each other from Orchestra, and I knew Katie through Christina (
wer3wolph)-- Katie whose mostly seen me in person through instances in which Tory (lj user="gingitsune3">) gets together with her friend Maria (
shieldmaiden13) and she is there and I pick Tory up or something like that-- Christina, who also works at Meijer, and I saw earlier, lol-- and Jessica knew Katie as the girl she worked with who was as obsessed with Sirius as she was!
So that was awesome.
Anyway, so Tiffany and I and that one kid (who I called Peter just for the sake of having all four Marauders-- including, erm, 2 Siriuses?-- who got all offended when he realized who that was, lol . . . ) followed Jessica and Katie around during their workingness (which was together, woot!), Zelda-style. Their "team leader" (heehee, Meijer is the Communist center . . . with their crazy red shirts . . . they are going to start rationing milk, lol . . . ) was sort of b*tchy, apparently, though, so we couldn't help them with anything, though . . . so Tiffany and I wand-duelled (with pens), and we all talked, and helped sort out cough drops vicariously, lol . . . and helped some guy find Milk of Magnesia which wasn't what he wanted, since the tablets were over on the way other side of the store, lol . . . so random. I made everybody nametags, lol . . . "Sirius 1" and "Sirius 2" and "Not Peter." Tiffany didn't want one.
So, anyway, fun night, lol . . .
