Today was a lot of college-ness, and it's not done yet. I took the ACT (and, you know, that's normally enough for one day for MOST people), and all I have to say is there was NOT ENOUGH TIME. The science section was so weird, and I didn't even have time to read all the experiment before I had to answer a ton of questions about it. Then, I came home and filled out more application stuff and wrote an essay. The Harrison Scholarship essays still both suck, but at least they're both done.

Now I'm taking a break and burning a CD full of violin-piano candidates for the ending of the play. Two of the pieces are actually solos I've played before for Solo and Ensemble because, well, they're solo violin over piano, which is what we need-- since one character plays violin and one plays piano, and neither of them really do.

I should so be the feminine version of the guy who's supposed to play the violin; he's compulsive and plays violin. It would be so easy for me to do.

Notre Dame traffic sucked around the SAT test. I took it at St. Joseph High School. The traffic directors were all annoyed with us, too, since Mom didn't know what she was doing. I mean, we never go to Notre Dame games and we don't live in South Bend, so it's not like we KNOW how it works, people.

So, all you St. Mary's people, I passed your school . . . and Mom and I were talking about visiting colleges when we passed, and she was like, "Or do you want to visit St. Mary's?" and then she shuddered and said it gave her bad memories, because the school she went to her freshman year of college was a little Catholic girls' school in Boston, and it sucked really badly, apparently. So if I'm visiting St. Mary's, I think it's going to have to be alone, lol . . . that means I'll have to merge on a highway. Shoot.

I'm looking forward to the Symphony tonight. They're (or at least Jessica . . . ) wearing costumes, which will be cool, and I love the repetoire: Night on Bald Mountain, Dance in the Hall of the Mountain King, Pirates of the Caribbean (I with we got to play that in YHO; no fair )-: lol), and also apparently a lot of fun stuff that Jessica's already made connections to our various Harry Potter plot-age with.

So pretty soon I have to go get ready to be Jessica's crazy fangirl groupie or something . . . lol. Too bad nobody waves signs or throws shirts onstage at Symphony concerts. Actually, lol, that would be about the funniest thing ever . . . though REALLY, REALLY disturbing. I would wear an extra shirt . . . but still . . . throwing one onstage at a random ESCO concert would be pretty darn funny. It would be even funnier if it were like the New York Philharmonic or something, but hey . . .

I am really looking forward to all the combined concerts I have this year: Faure Requiem with Tiffany and Jamie, and ECSO/YHO with Tiffany and Jessica. This is going to be fun! Though . . . perhaps it will somehow suck just because I am getting excited about it. That's the way Fate works, lol . . .

You know, just testing it . . . ^_^

Let's see . . . two essays down, two to go . . . and BOTH by November 1st. Dang it.
