I just read the craziest thing about Joan of Arc for my article review for World History last night. It's from a pagan essay site, which gives it a very interesting perspective. After all, everyone wants to claim the heroine for their religion-- but this lady makes some valid points. She says that Joan of Arc was actually a practicing Druid-- because her village had like all this paganism in it, and in Druidic rites she would have taken drugs that would have given her her visions (like the stuff in LSD!), and her miraculous healing in battles would have just been because she knew the right herbs. So, in a sense, she really was a witch, lol-- at least in the sense that people thought people were witches back in the day, like old ladies who knew how to make medicine with plants and stuff. Then it goes into this whole thing about how some drugs actually make you predict the future (which-- is that actually a belief? I've heard it about some before, and they used it, sort of, in Minority Report, too . . . ) and that explains why she could figure out the king that one time and all that stuff. That was a little out there, but hey . . . it was kind of neat to read it from that perspective. It's really long, but if you care, you can find it here.

They translated Harry Potter into Ancient Greek-- just in case anyone cared. Rowling thought it was cool, apparently. I would, too.

I have to clean my room tonight and I don't want to.

Patrons are due today for the fall play. Pssh. If I'm turning in all six, he's just going to have to wait. He always does. *Comes off as snotty, superior senior.*

Well, he does . . . he's always willing to take them after they're due. It's MONEY, I mean, come on . . .

This is crazy; this song is by "Tiffany," but not really Tiffany . . . that's crazy.
