I had a great weekend this weekend . . . especially today.

Graduation parties . . . well, there's food.

My friends and I can sing "Lies" a capella. It sounds really cool, and really freaky. I love it.

Driving back up after dropping them off after they spent the night was pretty cool; the clouds were making shadows on the ground, on the road as I drove, and they moved and disappeared, like mirages. Such giant clouds, so substantial they cast shadows . . . and then they just disappeared, whispering away in an ephemeral swish. There was one that kept following me, staying on top of me, as we drove . . . I figured out that it must have been going exactly 55 mph to keep up with me (because that's what I was going).

Or would it have to be going faster because it is higher up in the air than me? A higher velocity, meters per second, as opposed to radians per second, which would have been equal? Damn Physics; it ruined my peaceful vision of clouds on the weekend.

I love my "Death" CD that I burned . . . it really freaked my sister out, that I made that. I just love it. It contains Ase's Death (that song we played in freshman year from the Peer Gynt Suite) by Grieg, Juliet's Burial and The Death of Juliet by Prokofiev, Shindler's List Theme (the one we played in YHO, lol (-:), New World Theme by Dvorak (I don't know why that has anything to do with death, I guess I just like it), Berceuse and Finale by Stravinsky, Tourniquet, My Last Breath, My Immortal, Whisper, and Even in Death by Evanescence. I really like it. I was blasting it earlier and Mom told me to turn it down. How many other teenagers do you know that blast Stravinsky?

When I got home today, about 3:00, my friend called, and told me that she had made shirts. After what she said about not being seen in one. She made ones for all of us (even the person who is supposed to be Padfoot, though she already made one for herself and isn't even coming with us). They are so ghetto, but they are HILARIOUS! They have those iron-on letters (some of them got a little smeared), and they all say "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" and then our Marauder names on the back (they mispelled mine, lol; "Mooney" instead of "Moony"). Prongs's has bits of this fabric that feels like deer skin all over hers, as patches, and Padfoot's has this crazy sash thing going on, and mine has a piece of an old red kerchief sewn inside it and then it's slashed, as if I ripped myself, and then one sleeve is all cut up . . . it's so ugly, but so hilariously funny! I haven't seen Wormtail's yet, but hey, I assume it's along the same lines. I might wear mine to school on Thursday . . . and prove to everyone that I am crazy!

You know what kinda sucks, though? I came home immediately after that (I HAD to go over and see them), and I saw on the kitchen table that in the newspaper it said that they're reinstating the curfew. TWO DAYS before Harry Potter comes out. TWO DAYs, after we spent WEEKS AND WEEKS (AND MONTHS, lol) PLANNING. This Tuesday. Supposedly we can't be out past 11 on weeknights; you know, the whole thing of crap again. My mom is writing me a note giving me permission to stay out (-: so if the police were to randomly catch us, everything will be okay.

If they don't take that, I will go down with a fight. I will go all Bellatrix on them . . . "Yes, throw us in Azkaban, lock us up in Azkaban, we will wait, we alone tried to see Harry Potter first . . . " and then go all psycho laughter and then lightning goes off (because when I mock Bellatrix-- in the proper mood-- and laugh into a mirror-- I'll just have use the rear-view mirror-- I make lightning go off in the sky) and then it's really cool . . . (-:

Civil disobedience, all the way, baby!

I love that . . . I can just tell that to the police officer . . . that we were told in school that it was good to civilly disobey . . .
