1. The first character I first fell in love with: Probably Ron. He was always just adorable.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Albus Dumbledore. At first, he was just the old guru-type guy, the prototype needed in every story. Now, I realize, I want to be him.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Luna Lovegood. She grew on me in the 6th book, but I really did not see the attraction with her in the fifth book . . .
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Sheesh, all my favorite characters are hated: Bellatrix Lestrange (well, quite a few love her; but the majority seems to loathe her) and Moaning Myrtle.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I don't really have any major losses of faith, but I am rather sorely disappointed that Lord Voldemort was not driven to his evilness by some tragic means, rather than just being a possessive psycho liking shiny objects :-P
6. The character I would shag anytime: Sirius Black (sorry, Jessica), perhaps a younger Remus.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Albus Dumbledore.
8. The character I'd slap: Harry Potter. First, it was for being angsty. Now, it's for not figuring out who R.A.B. was in the last book when it was f*cking freaking obvious. I read those last three chapters like crazy-fast, just looking for that part to prove that I was right, and I got oh-so-pissed when it wasn't there!
9. A pairing that I love: Hermione Granger/Ron Weasley. It seems so natural. Also, Lily Evans/Severus Snape-- I betcha it's canon, at least one-sidedly :-P
10. A pairing that I despise: Harry and Draco. Why, I ask you??? You can also add in anything particularly pedophilic (which is basically anything with Snape besides the aforementioned Lily/Snape): Draco/Severus, Hermione/Severus, Harry/Sirius, Harry/James (??? yeah, it's out there!), etc, etc . . .
Les Miserables:
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Javert.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: The Bishop.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: A lot of the minor revolutionaries. I didn't really get crazily attached to them like everyone else seems to get to . . . maybe it's because I haven't seen the musical . . .
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Cosette. People just hate on Cosette because they feel bad for Eponine. Well, I feel bad for Eponine, too, but it's not Cosette's fault! Honestly . . .
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I'm not as gung-ho about the Javert-love anymore. I still like him, but, well-- actually, I think it's just been overshadowed, in comparison to those we've met. After all, in real life we never would get along (I just won't work between us, Javvy, I'm sorry . . . ), and, well, perhaps it had something to do with one too many "ZOMG JAVERT *rapes*" people I've encountered . . .
6. The character I would shag anytime: Marius or Enjolras. They're both young, hot, revolutionaries (even if Marius can be a little angsty at times). . . yum . . .
7. The character I'd want to be like: The Bishop. He's cool, buying people's souls like that. He knows what sticks. I wish I could touch people in that way.
8. The character I'd slap: That Petit-Jervais kid that has to go and cry and make Jean Valjean feel bad. I don't think he's in the musical, but he was annoying in the book.
9. A pairing that I love: All that stand canon. Cosette/Marius is adorable, and Eponine/Marius as unrequited is beautiful and not needing to change.
10. A pairing that I despise: Eponine/Marius fulfilled. WTF? It's not supposed to happen that way! Also: Eponine/Enjolras. WTF?
