With all my showtunes and instrumental pieces (I at least skipped those), mine are going to be the weirdest:

How does the world see me?: "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel

"But my words like silent raindrops fell
Echoing into the wells of silence."

Aww, nobody wants to listen to me )-:

Will I have a happy life?: "The Highwayman" by Loreena McKennitt

"'Tlot-tlot,' in the frosty silence! 'Tlot-tlot,' in the echoing night!
Nearer he came and nearer. Her face was like a light.
Her eyes grew wide for a moment; she drew one last deep breath,
Then her finger moved in the moonlight,
Her musket shattered the moonlight,
Shattered her breast in the moonlight and warned him with her death."

Well, nevermind the life . . . I'm going to have an interesting death . . .

What do my friends really think of me?: "Brain Damage" from The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd

"The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs--
Got to keep the loonies on the path."

Heehee I'm crazy ^_^

Do people secretly lust after me?: "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" by Jet

"Big black boots,
long brown hair,
she's so sweet
with her get-back stare.

Well I could see,
you home with me,
but you were with another man, yea!
I know we,
ain't got much to say,
before I let you get away, yea!
I said, are you gonna be my girl?"

Ha, apparently!

How can I make myself happy?: "Everywhere" by Michelle Branch

"Just tell me how I got this far
Just tell me why you're here and who you are"

Hmm . . . existential . . .

What should I do with my life?: "The Leader of the Pack" by The Shangri-Las (oh good Lord . . . )

"My folks were always putting him down;
They said he came from the wrong side of town.
They told me he was bad,
But I knew he was sad!
That's why I fell for
The leader of the pack.

One day my dad said, 'Find someone new!'
I had to tell my Jimmy 'We're through!'
He stood there and asked me why,
But all I could do was cry
I'm sorry I hurt you,
The leader of the pack.

He sort of smiled and kissed me goodbye
The tears were beginning to show
As he drove away on that rainy night
I begged him to go slow
But whether he heard, I'll never know

Look out! Look out! Look out! Look out!"

*CRASH*

Apparently not date the leader of a motorcycle gang . . . or break up with him, at least, lol . . . or maybe that's just a subliminal message NOT to listen to my parents . . .

Why must life be so full of pain?: "The House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals

"There is a house in New Orleans,
They call the Rising Sun,
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God, I know I'm one.

My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new bluejeans;
My father was a gamblin' man
Down in New Orleans.

Now the only thing a gambler needs
Is a suitcase and trunk,
And the only time he's satisfied
Is when he's on a drunk.

Oh Mother, tell your children
Not to do what I have done--
Spend your lives in sin and misery
In the House of the Rising Sun."

How can I maximize my pleasure during sex?: "Andy, You're A Star" by The Killers

"On the field I remember you were incredible
--Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah--
On the field I remember you were incredible
--Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah--
On the match with the boys, you think you're all alone
With the pain that you drain from love,
In a car with a girl, promise me she's not your world!
Cause Andy, you're a star.

Leave your number on the locker and I'll give you a call
--Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah--
Leave your legacy in gold on the plaques that line the hall
--Hey shut up, hey shut up, yeah--
On the streets, such a sweet face jumping in town,
In the staff when the verdict is in.
In a car with a girl, promise me she's not your world!

'Cause, Andy, you're a star
In nobody's eyes but mine.
Andy, you're a star
In nobody's eyes but mine.
Andy, you're a star
In nobody's eyes--
In nobody's eyes but mine."

At least I still sound heterosexual if it's me singing it . . . or maybe that's trying to imply something? At the very least, I'm a stalker and a jealous voyeur . . .

Will I ever have children?: "Wanted Dead Or Alive" by Bon Jovi

"And the people I meet always go their separate ways;
Sometimes you tell the day
By the bottle that you drink,
And times when you’re all alone, all you do is think."

That would be sad . . .

Will I die happy?: "Joy To The World" by Three Dog Night

"Joy to the world,
All the boys and girls!
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea!
Joy to you and me!"

Hell yes, apparently, lol . . .

What is some good advice for me?: "The Gash" by The Flaming Lips

"Is that gash in your leg
Really why you have stopped?
‘Cause I’ve noticed all the others
Though they’re gashed, they’re still going--
‘Cause I feel like the real reason
That you’re quitting, that you’re admitting:
That you’ve lost all the will to battle on.

Will the fight for our sanity
Be the fight of our lives,
Now that we’ve lost all the reasons
That we thought that we had?

Still the battle that we’re in
Rages on till the end,
With explosions-- wounds are open--
Sights and smells, eyes and noses,
But the thought that went unspoken
Was understanding that you’re broken.
Still the last volunteer battles on.

Battles on.
Battles on."

So . . . erm . . . don't give up? Lol . . .

What is happiness?: "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace

"There's no holding me back
--I'm not driven by fear
I'm just driven by anger--
And you're under attack
I'm just climbing up slowly.
I'm the one and only
--The tease the way the lie--
Stumble in your mind
The fear, the hope inside--
They hit here!
But whatever you need,
'Ever you got,
'Ever you want,
I'll take back again."

So, once I take The Flaming Lips' advice, I'll be just fine, lol . . .

What's my favorite fetish?: "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely" by Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin

"Can you hear my voice, do you hear my song
It's a seranade, so your heart can find me, ohh
And suddenly you're flying down the stairs
Into my arms, baby."

So sing and run down the stairs. It turns me on like whoa.

How will I be remembered?: "Eleanor Rigby" by The Beatles

"Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name
--Nobody came.
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave
--No one was saved.

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong? "

O.o Dear God!!! No!!!

Well-- you kind of have to, don't you? Lol . . .

Yeah, I figured you probably had plenty, too . . . I'm surprised something from "The Phantom of the Opera" or "Les Mis" didn't pop up, though . . . or "I'm Too Sexy," lol . . .
