Last Night

tabular_rasaIt stormed like whoa last night . . . the hail and everything. There was a tornado watch, plenty of lightning (including the fireworks for Diwali, lol . . . ). It looked like the Apocalypse for a while, or at least just a bombing . . .
Last night was pretty quiet. The gang went over to The Village for food (but there was no stir-fry!), and we had some dinner (after waiting forever for a fire alarm to go off so that we could go back in, lol . . . ) while sitting in some giant padded leather chairs, and went to Ursa's for ice cream (one scoop of chocolate with Reeses Pieces!) and listened to Open Mic Night. It was sad: The people we really wanted to here, the cello and guitar guy we had seen practicing outside, broke a string and then couldn't play, so we left (O.o I hope no one thought we were rude . . . but people were leaving in and out the whole time . . . so I guess it was okay, lol . . . ).
So then we decided to watch a movie (we thought about going to the mall, but, well, that just never went through . . . ). We set up in Keith's room and watched Office Space (yea! I'd never seen it-- good movie ^_^) and attempted to watch an episode of Family Guy, but Keith's laptop didn't like it and Henry's had already fallen asleep in the middle of Office Space (now, THAT was a funny ending . . . "Get a room, you two!" *DONE*). So then we retreated to the typical hangout of Lisa and Patricia's room, watched a couple episodes, ate some chips, and I called Tiffany, as we had been trying to reach each other last night.
. . . which resulted in some not-so-good things between Tiffany and I. *Sigh.*
In other news, I still want to work some more on that retarded Crossing Borders paper, which is going to fail me in that class. I'm so serious; it SUCKS!!!
I also have about 4000-odd works of catch-up to make with my NaNoWriMo novel . . .
In other news, I am also very hungry and have no food . . .
