Out of your groups of friends...
Who is the talker? Me. Patricia, Jamie, and Tiffany can be chatty when they want to be, though.
Who is the listener? Kristina and Lisa.
Who are you worried about? Julia and Alice.
Who are you mad at? Erm . . . no one?
Who are you? Amy, aka [livejournal.com profile] tabular_rasa, aka MurasakiNeko.

What do you want to achieve fairly soon? (Tiffany, it was a "yes-no" question; "sure" is not an answer, you had to answer it, lol . . . ) I want to write my novel-in-a-month and get some relatively good grades for the semester.
What do you want to get rid of? A few pounds.
What is one thing you are ashamed of? I bite my nails. Some of my compulsions are embarrassing to admit to, at first, too, lol . . .

Say something ironic about your life: I'm a flaming liberal, but when it comes to my personal morals, I hold myself to a very conservative standard which doesn't make any sense (maybe it's my elementary-school brainwashing of ALCOHOL IS BAD DRUGS ARE BAD HAVING SEX IS BAD!!!)

What was the last movie you watched in its entirety? Amelie.
What was the last song you sang out loud? "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from Mulan-- we sang snippets of songs from Disney movies on the way to Orchestra, on the bus (you MISSED it, Lisa!).
What was the last name you said?
Who was the last person you thought of? Well, I'm on IM with Julia, Lisa, Keith, and my Harry Potter roleplay chatroom, so that's a lot of people to think about at once . . .

Have you
Ever done volunteer work of some kind? Yes.
Ever had your appendix removed? Yes. It exploded.
Ever read The Giving Tree? Yes.
--if so, Did it make you cry? Not when I was a kid (surprisingly), but now, when I read it, it does . . .

Do you like to be complimented? Yes.
Do you like to be hugged? Yes.
Do you like to be touched? It depends on the people and the nature of the touching, but, for the most part, yes. I just don't like to be touched by feet or cold appendages.

Why do you like to take surveys/questionnaires? I like being asked questions and giving perfectly open and honest answers. I like everyone to know everything about me.

Do you like school? Yes!
Why or Why not? I have a beautiful campus with great people on it, and everyone's friendly, and the work load is challenging but capable of being conquered (at least to a B, I guess, *sigh,* lol . . . ) and there are so many open opportunities to learn random things that I am interested in! Wow, I sound cheesy, but that's the truth, really . . .

What religion do you follow? Agnosticism (I guess you could call it), if you can call it "following." Really, it's more like a personal philosophy/spirituality. It changes from day to day, though, so it's still got that questioning, Agnostic aura.
--Why? I want God to tell me directly what to do; I don't trust in the nature of one-size-fits-all doctrines, and, though I have a strong spiritual sense, I don't feel the need to attach myself to a doctrine I most likely will not agree in its entirety with. I can sense what is right and what is wrong; if I can't, I can find the direct guidance I need.

List five positive adjectives or descriptive aspects about yourself: Passionate, Compassionate, Sensitive, Tactful, Energetic.
List five negative adjectives or descriptive aspects about yourself: Oversensitive/Excitable, Overdramatic, Stubborn, Neurotic, Whiney.

Where do you stand on the political spectrum? I'm a liberal (more libertarian, though, I may actually be thinking . . . I like freedom in EVERYTHING, including the economy, apparently, lol . . . ) with oddly self-conservative self views. I don't care what other people do, but I get weird about the stuff I let myself do. It's odd; it's a double-standard, which I don't believe in, either, but, ahh well . . . I do believe in free choice, but that's my free choice . . .

What is your favorite color? Purples, pinks, and blues.
What is your astrological sign? Taurus, but only the stubborness fits.

Do you write/type in ebonics? Um . . . very rarely . . . usually only in mockery . . . lol . . . I AM Shaniqua, after all . . .
Do you text message often? I never have . . .
Do you have a crush on a new guy/girl every day? No.

FIRST time you were sent to the principal for disciplinary action: Mrs. Coughlan, Vice Principal Satan From Hell, blamed some cafeteria mess on me and about eight other girls in our class. She was always prejudiced against PEP kids. I sound bitter, but I'm so freaking dead serious.

FIRST musical instrument you learned to play: Piano.

FIRST concert you watched: Probably some YHO or Elkhart Symphony concert . . .

FIRST sport you played: Soccer, when I was about aged 5. I used to sit down in the middle of the field, in the middle of the game, and just play with the flowers (I was like Ferdinand the Bull, lol . . . )-- but I kicked ass as goalie (no one ever shot it higher than my head!).

FIRST terrible fight: Alice and I, at our first sleepover, probably.

FIRST best friend: Kyle Russell.

FIRST wedding you've attended: My neighbors' eldest daughter, who I was friends with; I was their flower girl.

FIRST person who greeted u on your last birthday: Mom.

FIRST collection: Those plastic sticks found in decorative holiday cupcakes. I am dead serious.

FIRST time u saw a ghost: I've never seen one, but I felt my Great-Grama Nina on December 23rd of 2001, and then an overwhelmingly load of ghostliness in Hiroshima in July of 2003 . . .

FIRST roller coaster ride: "Blue Streak" at Cedar Point. I freaked out and thought I was going to die . . .

FIRST ambition: To be a ballerina (heh, not that I could EVER dance, lol . . . ).

FIRST job: Babysitting.

FIRST thing u bought with your 1st salary: I don't even know. I refused to spend money for years . . . Mom took care of most things when I was a kid, and so I put it all in the bank . . .

FIRST thing u bought today: Cheap lunch!

FIRST person you hated: Lona. I wanted her husband Tripp so badly . . . lol . . . I don't even consciously remember this . . .

LAST time you traveled out of the country: December, 2004-January 2005, Switzerland!

LAST song listened: Well, I listened to "An Outdoor Overture" as we were playing it, lol . . .

LAST argument: Lisa, maybe, about whether she remembered my parody I made about her cello, last week, lol . . .

LAST thought: Dang it, stalker boy is on. Better get off.

Edit (11:58 pm): As a shameless plug, I have friended you all with my writing journal for NaNoWriMo, [livejournal.com profile] _setting_sun_, so you can all read it. You are in no way required to friend the journal back; it just allows you access to the always-friends-only posts. If this bothers you in any way, just tell me, and I'll remove you (though I might hazard to ask why, lol-- as you're not even required to read it :-P). I like comments ^_^ I am shameless, I know ^_^
