tabular_rasaI have a new hobby. I am going to collect "First Time Giving Blood" stickers. I have two, presently.
Both are lies . . .
You see, I tried to give blood again, today, but, once again, I didn't have the high enough level iron count. This time, it was only ONE under. ONE-- after eating so much beef and spinach today (and drinking so much water that I had to duck out of line twice, waiting to give blood, to pee . . . )!!!
At least this time, they weren't preachy, though. They didn't give me a long list and be like, "You're not eating enough iron. This is where you fail. Eat this, now." I told the guy I had eaten a lot of iron today, and he was like, "Maybe you should try an iron supplement, even just the week before you come to give blood."
Anu's suggestion was that I give blood anyway, and shake it around in an iron container for a while before I turned it into the center, lol . . .
"I sent a pint of my blood to the Red Cross once. They sent it back," -Fairy May, The Curious Savage (oh, man, I miss that play . . . that was only a year ago . . . wow . . . or . . . a full year? I don't know . . . this has been a long time . . . ).
I feel so guilty taking their shirts and their bracelets when I don't give them anything . . .
. . . and this time, it wasn't even my period to blame! *Knocks on wood* (lol, I don't want to have to wash my sheets . . . ).
I had this thing called Dr. Slice today. It was basically unnaturally red Dr. Pepper. It was kind of weird . . . I think I should test it for radioactivity.
. . . in which I had better take out my trash, lol . . . as it is overflowing, anyway, lol . . .
On another note, I just watched the new Harry Potter trailer (yes, another one ^_^). It gives away the whole movie. Ridiculous. There is no point in seeing it, now, lol . . . well, if you're looking for anything new. Then again . . . you could have read the book, too, and done just that . . .
Hermione is still wearing pink.
No one is nearly as hot as they should be, except the wrong people, who are way too hot for what they should be. It's so backwards. Silly AU Harry Potter universe . . .
They pronounce Beauxbatons "bo-BAT-uns." Isn't it like, "BO-ba-tawns," or even "BO-ba-tawng," like in that crazy French nasally way? Silly, silly people . . .
Speaking of Harry Potter, Emerson still hasn't written back or friended Lisa. Silly kid. I know he doesn't know her . . . but I am going to have to release the secret weapon. If he didn't write her back, I planned to send him the song I wrote to "His Name is Lancelot" about the R.A.B. theory, only having the people who did the interview of J.K. Rowling (him and that Leaky Cauldron girl) sing it ^_^ . . . I also wanted to say I grew up near him and could have stalked him (if only I would have gone to a Speech meet, lol . . . ).
Maybe I'll end up on the Wall of Shame, next to the man who goes on about being in Hell eating pineapples ^_^
Improv went well tonight; we had our first rehearsal . . .
There is dark mist out tonight. I yelled out as I was leaving Improv, "THE DEMENTORS ARE HAVING SEX!!!"

I had a dream I wanted to post here a few nights ago. I saved George W. Bush's life. He was at our lake, randomly, and someone through a random metal ball at him, and I wondered why it was ticking, and so I took it from him, and then I realized it was a bomb (why are there always BOMBS at my lake in my dreams???), and chucked it away from him. I saved his life. So then I was trying to perform Les Miserables (and I was Eponine again, go figure . . . ) in a muddy corral in the rain with a fence around it, and I was having trouble getting my cast to sneak onto the corral because it was so rainy and there were guards standing everywhere. It seems my buddy George wouldn't call them off for me. I think it was because we were in Israel . . . because in Crossing Borders, we talked about Israel, and the West Bank and the Gaza Strip being perfect except for the military presence . . .
