tabular_rasa: (V for Vendetta *Shit*)
[personal profile] tabular_rasa
I had a dream last night that there was this giant storm brewing-- the clouds were moving so fast one got vertigo just watching them slip past the trees. They were perfectly dark, like smoke, rather than clouds. The wind picked up so much that windows blew open and could not be shut. I was at the lake with my entire family and a mass of friends, and we scampered in and out of the barely-sheltering house, transporting the things we wanted to save into the windless inner rooms. We realized the wind was so strong that there was no way of saving the boats unless we actually got into the water and held them down. So we rigged them all up in a line across the lake, held together with a rope, and held fast to them. The water was as black as the smokey clouds, and freezing. Holding on to the boats in the deathly wind did nothing; we were blown backwards as if the low-profile boats were sails.

You Are 71% Perfectionist

You are a true perfectionist. You are both demanding of yourself and others.
While it's great to have goals and standards, they don't need to be sky high!

Show me someone at this school who isn't at least 50% perfectionist, lol . . .

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents,
beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home
decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.
