Jessica and I just went out and bought the Pirates of the Caribbean II soundtrack. I LOVE Davey Jones's theme, just as I said I would; it's even more interesting all coherent and together, lol . . . Also, best part: random techno remix of "He's A Pirate" at the end!!! That is hilarious, is all I have to say!
. . . it's certainly better than the "Titanic" remix . . . it goes, all whispery, "OCEANS OF MEMORY!!!" and then just has some chick singing the theme behind some beat, lol . . .
When we came back, we listened to it, of course, and burned it for Jessica (and she, in turn, burned me the Narnia CD ^_^ oh-- and I also have Corpse Bride on DVD now, woot!). Then we took out our violins (she brought hers over ^_^) and we played (along with the recording) Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis and some other fun with-harmony-parts pieces that I had lying around . . . woot . . . good times! ^_^
