I just scalded myself on "Chipotle Chicken Soup." Mrr . . . it was low, at the bottom of the bin, and I got myself some, and I went to sit down, and when I went to pick up my little thick-paper bowl to, you know, eat some, I squeezed it too hard and it all went raining down on me, all over my hand. Now it is red and raw and hot-feeling and sore and puffy, and I'm rather annoyed . . . I also couldn't get it under any cold water to run it under because I was in the eating place saving a table for Michellanne and she didn't get there for a while, lol . . .

I sort of wish I had gone to the protest-- the one about the Gay Therapy Conference. I mean, it was a very big deal, and there were lots of people-- so the turnout was still excellent undependent upon my being there, which makes me feel a little bit better/justified. Yet it was something I definitely supported; I would have liked to have gone. I even would have known Wendy, if I had found a way to go along . . .

Yet if I had gone, during that major portion of my day Saturday, I wouldn't have gotten any work done this weekend. I didn't do anything, after all, on Sunday; I read my self-required Psychology chapter while under the influence of some very heavy drugs, and while dozing in and out of delirous, babbling sleep. I sang to myself as I read the chapter; I'm sure I didn't soak in very much, lol . . . I also read some Tocqueville for Tuesday's Introduction to Political Theory class, but while watching Keith play video games and Henry microwave a Thai dinner. I also read the wrong section first, which meant that most of which I soaked up what was I didn't need to know, lol . . .

Last night, though, however, after my drugs (ahh, Hydrocodone, how thou hast saved me!) wore off and I took a shower and felt better and had some popcorn to eat (I really craved popcorn, and Lisa and Keith were awesome and both brought me back some, so I ended up with a total of six bags-- even though Lisa took back her two when she realized Keith had already covered it, lol :-P-- and I actually did eat two, last night, lol . . . ), Lisa, David, Henry, Keith, and I watched "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" I've always loved that movie, David had seen it and I think liked it (or really likes Lisa and so he doesn't mind, lol :-P), Lisa enjoyed it very much, too, and I think Keith and Henry did, too. Keith also enjoyed throwing York mints at me. I now have chocolate on my pajama shirt from where one wasn't quite wrapped all the way, lol . . . but I can throw a mean tootsie roll . . .

I still feel in a really snappy mood because my abdomen still sporadically clenches, and I felt like I was going to be sick in Japanese subsection (which was so pointless-- after the quiz within the first five minutes of class, I totally could have left and moved on with my life and not suffered through all of that, which was just basically reading out loud randomly when she called on one of us, lol . . . easy, thank God . . . I wish writing was worth more in the entire grade . . . *sigh* . . . lol . . . ^_^)-- and, well, because my hand hurts, too, I think . . . or, at least, that didn't help it, anyway . . .
