Just Married: Engaged!

Our floor is holding a "Just Married" challenge-- we're paired off, and pairs have to propose, and then get to know each other over the weekend, and be quizzed on our knowledge of each other on Sunday evening as part of a big floor activity.
So Owen (Carol's friend who is always in our room, lol-- you can tell not many people signed up, since it's basically the same group of people that knows everybody :-P) came in and asked if he could talk to me, alone, in private (and Divya, Clara, and Carol are back snickering in the bathroom, lol), and then he pulls out this big stuffed rose, and a strawberry ring pop, and gets down on one knee, lol . . .
So then we had an "engagement party" in the hall, and were silly (even though all of my silly non-night-owl friends slept through it-- Henry and Anu opened the door briefly to stare outside at what was going on-- but silly Lisa and Pats, and Keith, wherever the heck you were-- you were decidedly absent! *Cries* Lol . . . ).
Now I'm going to shower. I have a lot to do tomorrow, besides get to know Owen inside and out, lol . . .
