Another Goodbye
Aug. 20th, 2005 11:33 pmAnother day, another goodbye. Today it was Jessica.
Today was nuts, really. I ran out shopping with Mom real early to go get my robe and my computer. It's a desktop; they were the only thing cheap enough for us to want to buy, lol, with the capabilities we want it to have. I have a scanner and a printer (built into one ^_^), and a CD/DVD burner/writer. I have a flat-screened monitor. It's awesome!
Then I rushed to go see Jessica, because I thought it might be too late to see her. Tiffany and I actually stormed her church. You should have seen her face when we did it. It was worse than when we paged her at Meijer, lol . . .
I had to go to a wedding. It was one of Mom's friend's (Kirsten-- she used to own the gymnastics place; she's really interesting and is always nice) daughter (Amber-- dunno if anyone reading this knew her?). It was a nice little outdoor ceremony (she rode up to the pavilion in a horse and carriage! That was awesome! Lol . . . ), and the rain held off until just after the vows.
However, getting food therefore proved difficult, as the pavilion was crowded with people, and, therefore, no one could get anything done. So, we went back home, and I went over to Jessica's with Tiffany. We RPed and went to Walmart, and bought an insane amount of matching stuff. It's ridiculous, lol . . . but, hey, we're leaving *forever,* so we need to find those sappy ways to keep in touch with one another ^_^ With Jessica and Tiffany, we're wearing our Marauder (I'm Moony! Woot! *Howls at moon-- which was full last night, when I most recently wore my shirt last time, lol*) shirts on full moon, and we also have random matching black shirts that are pretty and jean jackets. With Nichole and Kristina, we are trying to make Black sisters shirts (I'm Bellatrix, naturally ^_^), and Kristina's been trying to find some Traveling Pants, lol. Sadly, Kristina is tiny and I have a butt. It may have worked with those random four chicks, but not us . . . at least not yet, apparently, lol . . .
We stood outside and watched the thunderheads flash. We practically had to hold Tiffany down, lol . . . and then we moved Jessica's stuff all around, dressed in our matching jean stuff, so that we looked like a moving crew, lol . . .
. . . and then we all stood outside for nearly an hour and reminisced (even though I missed like half of it, seeing as how I didn't have the long of a history as Tiffany and Jessica had . . . but it was all good, lol . . . ), until Jessica's dad like came to the door and was all like *wave-wave-hint-hint-get-out-of-here-wave-wave,* lol . . .
Bittersweetness . . .
EDIT:

Heehee, Julia . . .
