Good Day of Driving and Meijer and Fruits and Harry Potter and A Million People

Today was fun ^_^

The morning was boring-- I spent the first part of the day cleaning up my room some more (wow, it's a mess . . . so in progress . . . BUT I FOUND $200 IN MY ROOM . . . AND IT WASN'T AN EXPIRED CHECK LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!!! IT WAS CASH!!! COLD, HARD-- WELL, PAPER-- CASH!!!), and then Tory and I went out to lunch at Burger King, since there's no food in the house, lol . . .

After cleaning some more and playing my violin, and uploading the fun Harry Potter pictures (they're at deviantart-- http://murasakineko.deviantart.com/scraps/-- in my scrapbook; they're not good enough to be deviations, but they're FUNNY!!!) from back when I was 12, when the third book had just come out, and I was actually YOUNGER than Harry, lol, I took Tory to oboe, picking up Kristina on the way to go get her birthday present.

We went to Meijer, and we looked around for Jessica and Christina, and a CD case for me and a Barbie for Kristina and Tiffany. We were unsuccessful with the Barbie and Jessica, but Christina was our checkout girl and I got the CD case, lol-- and a book of baby names! I was excited! I still am, lol . . .

We went to Target with no more luck for the Barbie, but we bought some fruit (blackberries-- they're a lottery; you sometimes get sweet sometimes and sometimes get sour ones-- raspberries, kiwis, a mango, and a coconut, lol . . . ) for Tory's dinner, and as we were pulling out of the parking lot, I saw a car with a Memorial frontal license plate, and I was like, "Hey, that car looks like Tiffany's, and they go to Memorial, too-- and, hey! They just graduated, too! They have a hanging thing! And-- hey! That looks like Tiffany's mom! HEY!!! IT'S TIFFANY!!!" So then I started spazzing and waving to them as they came towards us (the stoplight was letting them go, but I was parked, waiting for the turn signal, lol . . . ), and Tiffany's mom waved all casually and Tiffany just looked at me really funny, lol . . . or at least as far as I could tell . . .

Then, we picked up Tory, and talked to Oboe Man about how Meijer was the place to be; everyone cool hung out there.

We took Tory to band, and I hugged Phil again and Kristina said hi to Nicki. We also ate the mango in the old school bathroom, lol . . . and gave Tory the official bathroom "tour," lol . . .

Then we passed, on the way to Kristina's house, Liz and Gowdy as they were driving after one another from the cemetery. Lol, it was funny . . . we took a different route than Liz but we then intersected her about eight times . . .

Kristina and I cracked open the coconut in her backyard just as it started storming. It actually had milk in it, too, and it was really good . . . we scraped at it for a long time, and then made a tropical Orgasm in a Cup with the milk, and some half-and-half and some vanilla syrup, yum . . . and then we invited Nichole over and she had some.

We participated in one of our favorite Harry Potter ritual-type thingies, lol . . . looking up the weirdest slash pairings on Fanfiction.net. Dobby/Hagrid. Hermione/Grawp. Dumbledore/Dudley. WOW . . . lol . . . I'm so glad they're tongue-in-cheek . . . except the Hermione one wasn't . . . lol . . . wow . . . that's even worse . . . lol . . .

So I saw like a million people I like today. Yea!

Jessica, why weren't you in your box??? Lol . . . I finally go hunt you down, and you're not even THERE!!! Did you have the day off? Maybe I went to the wrong Meijer . . . *shrug* . . . I don't know . . .

PS: This day got even better when "Dragostea Din Tei" was #1 on U93 tonight . . . just now, lol . . .

Hedwig or Pig?	Pigwidgeon. Tory and I developed a storyline for him before we even knew his name, right after the third book.

Canon/Fanon Draco?	I'm all about canon, but I would like to think Draco's the pitiable product of an abusive home-- it's the only way I can think of him as real. We don't know if that's the case or not, so I can't really say.
Canon/Fanon Snape?	Canon. He may have liked Lily, which is canon, but KEEP HIM OUT OF HERMIONE, HARRY, LUCIUS, DRACO, AND REGULUS'S PANTS, MY GOD!!!
D/Hr or D/G?	Draco and Ginny. It's got more of a Romeo and Juliet vibe. I really don't like either, but you make me pick.
H/D or H/SS?	H/D. I don't like the pedophilia thing. I don't really stand for either.

Do you write Fanfiction?	Yes.
Do you read Fanfition?	Rarely, but I did tonight. Mostly I like to look up the weirdest pairings and see who's written on them, and seriously.
Favorite Fanfiction?	*Shrug.*
Canon or Fanon?	Canon. Ugh . . . I get so annoyed otherwise.
One shot or Novel length?	I don't have much patience; one-shot. I write novel-length, though-- as I do everything, lol.
Fluff or Angst?	Angst rather than fluff, but I get annoyed with too dramatic in general.
Darkfic?	Preferrably. I prefer them to be a little more shocking.
Very Powerful Harry?	Um, I like him canon-esque, which at this point means whiney and angsty and still sort of figuring it out.
Very Sexy Draco?	Not particularly. I see him trying too hard and making a fool of himself.
Gen, Het, or Slash?	General, preferrably-- I don't like them to revolve around sex, but if it shows up, anything canon is fine. We don't know a lot of pairings (lol, the Death Eaters could have some wild orgy or something), so both het and slash is fine, really. Most slash, though, is wildly non-canon, so I don't read much of it.
Fanfiction Petpeeves?	Non-canon. Also, OC characters. My worst non-canon annoyance is when people misorder the Black sisters: It's Bellatrix, Andromeda, Narcissa. Honestly, she explained the family tree.
Books
Did you Cry when Cedric Died?	No. Tory told me what was going to happen, so I knew it all along and refused to get attached to him.
Did you cry when Sirius Died?	No. I laughed-- but only because I saw it coming and I was pleased I had predicted it.
All time favorite part	I have to PICK??? Um, either Snape's Worst Memory, the part where Fred and George leave, or the Shrieking Shack scene.
Were you mad about the whole H/C mistake?	I sort of wanted him to hook up with Cho. I was a little sad it didn't work out.
Do you like Viktor Krum?	Yes. He was adorable.
Do you like Cho Chang?	Enough. I liked her a lot until Book 5, but less so afterward-- but I still don't hate her.
Do you like Fluer?	She's a decent character; I wouldn't like to know her.
Do you like Cedric?	Yes. He was a non assanine Hufflepuff. He was also very honorable and sweet.
What did you think of the Prophecy?	I don't like that it exists. Dumbledore said in Book 2 that it is our choices, not our fates, that make us who we are. Harry and Voldemort not having a choice in their fate rather undermines the series for me. It makes it thoroughly predictable.
Which characters need more development?	Andromeda and Ted Tonks, and Regulus Black, post-mortem. I also want to see the Malfoy's family life.
Did Harry pass his O.W.Ls in Potions?	Yes.
Will Harry die or survive at the end of book 7?	SURVIVE!!! DUH!!! IT'S A KIDS' BOOK!!!
Do you like the Marauders?	YES!!!
Light side or dark side?	The dark side is so much more fun! I know I'd hate them in person, but I love their stories so much better. Darkness is more fun in magical books.
Who do you think is the HBP?	Albus Dumbledore.
Who do you think will die in HBP?	Remus Lupin and Bellatrix Lestrange.
Who do you think Harry's new "love interest" is in HBP?	I think he's gonna start noticing Miss Ginny again.
What do you think will be the "something huge" revealed about Lily Potter?	There's going to be something huge? Maybe it's that thing Lupin talked about in the third movie that made no sense.
Are you a Luna fan?	Not really.
Favorite Marauder?	Remus Lupin.
Is Harry going to be back on the quidditch team?	Duh. It's his passion. Plus, hey-- he could hook up with Ginny, then, perhaps.
How well do you think Harry will cope with Sirius's death in HBP?	He'll brood, but, hopefully, we'll see some maturity forced into him through the process, and we'll lose that angst.
Do you think Harry will be even more angry in HBP than in OotP?	Initially, he may. Then I think he will cool and become the most mature we've ever seen him. Through loss his sanity is forged.
Will Ron or Hermione die in either of the next 2 books?	They can't. Didn't she say they wouldn't? Also, again-- KIDS' BOOK!!!
How do you think Ron and Hermione will react when they find out about the prophecy?	I think they sort of knew it all along. I think Harry did, too.
Harry Potter Movies
Do you like the movies as much as the books?	Hell no.
Hottest HP actor?	Cedric's decent. I claimed him. Sadly, I was disappointed in most of them.
Do you think Emma Watson is too girly for Hermione?	Yes, and she got cute too quickly. She's not even supposed to be OBVIOUSLY cute, ever-- just when she's calling attention to it.
What do you think of Ruperts long hair in GoF?	Not really a fan; it's not Ron.
Daniel Radcliffe or Rupert Grint?	Rupert Grint. As well as having an awesomely unique name, lol (I remember laughing when I found out the casting), he has the funniest facial expressions on earth. Maybe that's just the way pre-angsty Harry is, but Daniel Radcliffe seems rather bland.
Chris Columbus or Alfonso?	Neither, really. I guess I kind of liked Alfonso a bit better. Maybe.
Was the warewolf too bald?	IT SUCKED *SS. OH MY GOSH.
What scene did they leave out in the movie you wish they hadn't?	All of them.
Favorite movie moment?	The tap-dancing spiders line, the chemistry set line, the room of doom, and how Harry screams about two octaves lower at the end of the first movie than he did at the beginning.
Least favorite movie moment?	I can't even say. Seeing most of the characters they cast for the first time.
Favorite character in movie?	Tom Riddle. He was the only character remotely close to how I pictured them.
Favorite Movie?	The third, I guess . . .
Was that how you imagined the basalisk?	Not really, but, well, a snake's a snake.
Do you wish Richard Harris could still play Dumbledore?	No. He seemed dead; there was no twinkle in his eye.
Do you think Snape is sexy?	No. He reminds me of Javert and Mr. Hatfield. There is NOTHING sexy, I promise you, about that.
Do you wish you looked like Emma Watson?	Not really.
