I think I am channeling Jessica's mouth. She got her wisdom teeth pulled today, and now I am the one bleeding, for some strange reason. I think I got something stuck between (several gaps between) my teeth (perhaps it was the seeds of the virgin strawberry daiquiri I had with dinner-- my very first one ever!) and then I vigorously brushed and actually flossed them, and I don't think that helped. I ended up spitting a ton of blood into the sink and had to rinse out my mouth with salt water-- a technique my mom taught me after various oral surgeries, teeth-pullings, teeth-falling-out-ings, and other bleeding oral discomforts. It's still bleeding, anyway.

I hope Jessica's doing okay after all of that. Tiffany called her earlier, apparently, and said she was loopy on Vicadin and in denial about it, lol . . .

I'm up at the lake. It's very peaceful up here, since no one's really up, but it feels really nice, like summer.

(However, the computer is old, and I can't use my away message, nor press any raised buttons that get sites to load. It's very, very annoying. Ahh well . . . )

We went out to eat at the Hickory Inn, and our waitress was really vivacious. She sort of reminded me of Liz, like what Liz would be if she still waitressed like 20 or 30 years from now, lol (nightmare, huh, Liz?). There was only one other group there, a group of couples all talking about various world events in a very laid-back, humorous manner. It was nice, just an evening out, no need to get serious about it.

On the way back, we drove past several swamps where the frogs were so loud they made discernable "peep"ing noises that crescendoed and faded as passed. Dad missed the first one, and so we had to go back and listen, and then turn the car around and drive back again. We still passed several on the way again.

Spring break seemed to last a long time. It was very nice.
