GOOD CHILDREN OF THE WORLD, UNITE!!!
Here's the story: During Activity Period, we can only leave if we have a pass-- no bathroom (that's TWO HOURS I cannot use the bathroom in!!! THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR ME!!!), no locker-- no going anywhere if you don't have a pass. The teachers we are going to have to write them up; that's 30 passes for Mr. Jantzen to have had to write and distribute THIS MORNING since they made the rule effing YESTERDAY. Also, NHS meetings are required. I would also assume that Student Council, particularly for officers, Key Club, particularly for officers, Speech officer meetings, and other activities so many of us high-achieving types are in, are required. Yet, OH, we cannot have kids in the halls, so NO ONE can switch activities, even if they have two passes, even if they are both REQUIRED. NHS only lasts half the hour. These people have to go out and brief their other activities.
This really does punish the good kids. So the other losers that don't do anything (no offense-- I never did anything, either, until this year-- and I was a loser ^_^) just can't go out in the hall (which was apparently a problem???). Big deal. Now, us achievers . . . we can't do what we were meant to do.
Once again, the world has punished us for being good. Once again, they punish everyone for the bad kids-- even if it punishes the good kids MORE!!!
How many more times must this happen?
WHO'S SICK AND TIRED OF IT???
We have all been punished wrongly for something that we have never done-- over and over again. I can't count on my hands how many times I've been yelled at, punished, or had privileges revoked because of some other asshole who couldn't be punished himself and made an example of.
I am believer in karma, here; if you do something wrong, you are punished for it. So does it work the other way around?
I could commit a murder with all I have done, and have no sentence; I have already served it. Incarcerations, bans of speech, revocations of privileges naturally allotted to us.
-Waiting an extra five minutes to go out to recess when that retarded school stop light went up to yellow when I wasn't even talking at Pinewood in first grade.
-Standing on the fence countless years of elementary school at both Roosevelt and Pinewood for being loud when I wasn't.
-Being lectured by Mrs. Hilliard when Seth and that Andrew Monger kid broke that Newton scale, when I hadn't even USED the Newton scale and my stomach hurt and I felt woozy when she forced us to put our heads down but I had to anyway.
-Putting my head down at an indoor recesses that never happened over and over again because "we" we loud.
-Being forced to silence at thousands of lunches because of a few hundred truly disruptive kids.
-Losing computer privileges and library privileges over a few bad eggs.
-Being forced to stay in at recess-- and during ISTEP week, too!-- for SOME of my class being noisy in fourth grade.
-Being yelled at in fifth grade in Mrs. Coughlan's office for not cleaning up the trash when it wasn't me she had selected to do it.
-Being brought back downstairs and yelled at as a "PEP kid who should know better" when EVEERYONE was talking-- another example of the "good" kids being punished EVEN MORE for the same offense-- by the aforementioned Mrs. Coughlan.
-Being forced to take Team Time instead of languages due to some retarded requirement since kids weren't being attentive in elective classes in 7th grade.
-Being yelled at SO many times in Orchestra for not being ready, when I am.
-Even, in the last WEEK, being yelled at for reading and talking while someone was playing in Orchestra (thank God the karma already took care of that . . . in a way . . . though it reacted again on authority's behalf, dammit . . . ).
-Even, in the last WEEK, not being allowed to use the bathroom in the Orchestra hall in the morning because of some jerk who smoked in there one day.
I remember the injustices, all of you. I remember them. I don't forgot.
. . . and that's not even all of them.
Honest to God, with my memory, I could be seriously twisted by all of this, and have a fully good excuse.
It's even more excusable than Hitler's "The Jews didn't let me into art school!"
As Sirius Black said, "But make it quick, Remus. I want to commit the murder I was imprisoned for!"
I am so sick of all of this. I wonder who I could murder?
. . . and wouldn't that make an interesting case in court?
Right . . .
Well, hey, Niff . . . lol . . . sorry we didn't look at you, Tory and Sarah . . . we were too busy eating barbecue and spending insane amounts of money on it, lol . . .
