So Friday night went just as well as Thursday, if not better.

We took the pictures on the disposable camera, apparently, because we ran out of space on our digital one and didn't have time to clear it . . . so I've got to develop them, scan them, and then post them . . . so it'll be a while . . . *sigh.*

Yesterday I took the three SAT IIs (Japanese w/ Listening, Writing, and US History) in the coldest school in the freaking world (I swear . . . does St. Joseph's High School not keep the heat on?).

Then I went to Stuff-A-Bus at the Jackson Street Martins and wore a huge shirt and sat and talked to Lindsey, Kylie, Seth, Joey, Lauren, Vidhi, Stephanie, and Alison for extended periods of time as we watched the people come in and handed them pamphlets. Some people were really rude . . . like when we asked that one dude to help out Stuff-A-Bus, and he goes, "Do you wanna donate me $100?" and then there was one man who was actually from Faith Mission-- which was where all this stuff on the [not so] stuffed bus would be going . . . that made us feel bad.

I need to watch Hello Dolly. I apparently I can play Ermengarde, because she's whiney and doesn't sing ^_^ So I need to watch this and find out . . . Yet little wonderful Neil has lost the remote and the little wonderful TV doesn't change format without it. It stays on TV-- no DVD or video. It's very annoying. You can shift it to the Public Access station on channel three and watch all the ads for church services being broadcasted at various times, or even watch some of them . . . but you can't watch the freaking DVD . . . and, well, I think I'd rather watch my DVD than badly printed moving type accompanied by elevator music.

Maybe sometime when the computer's not being used (ha ha!) I can watch it on the computer.

The YHO concert last night was night. It was so crazy being in the audience and having all these new people up there. It felt backwards.

I got a petit four before anyone got there because I am a miserable, spiteful, old woman who is getting back vicariously at all the times I was denied cookies the times I played in Orchestra.

It was good. It was chocolate ^_^

I asked Dr. Inglefield if he had chosen our ballet, and he thinks we're going to do some weird one that begins with a D that I swear no one has ever heard of. It better be at least sad or angry. If it's a happy one I swear I'm going to kill someone. I asked him if we could do Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, and he was like *draws huge deep breath* "Oh, no, that's much too hard!" Then I begged and pleaded because it was my birthday that day of our concert, AND my senior concert . . . to completely no avail.

Maybe I can beg Mr. Briddell into doing part of it . . . like the Dance of the Knights movement that I think everyone's actually heard of . . . or either the Burial or Death of Juliet, which are both great . . . just as a piece on its own. I also would really like to play Mulan, but I don't think that's going to happen. We need a really strong oboe. If Tory were a year older, I would take it upon myself to beat her into playing it well, and then we would have it . . . but, alas, she's not . . . ^_^

I have to rake fucking leaves today. Yes, fucking. There is very little else I would prefer less to do that rake leaves. I'm so completely serious.

Though I think I did come up with Hemsley while raking leaves in 7th grade . . . and then I never presented it to anyone until 8th grade, and the rest is history (and the only person who's still doing it initially didn't even want to, lol . . . TIFFANY . . . you sat watching us come up with characters while you read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which had just come out a couple weeks ago and then eventually, after about three days, you finally gave in and made up Chris, who was initially Japanese . . . but I think she's much better Canadian, don't you? I swear, if this gets off the ground, we're going to have to publish the history of Hemsley . . . ).

Yet no good will come of raking leaves today.

Grama and Winston are still here. They are off at chuch without us because they are 1) devout and 2) Catholic, and soon after they arrive back, they will leave, and we will go, and then we will return home and go to Papa and Jana's for a while.

I have to come up with a presentation for English. My two Canterbury Tales stories are so random: One is just a huge, long description of this knight riding off to marry an Elf Queen-- that is cut off in the middle by the Host guy, and the other is just a synopsis of what was once a tale and was apparently too long and unimportant to print in our insignificant school Canturbury Tales books. It doesn't really have a plot, either; it's just an argument between a bunch of people about philosophy.

Hey, kind of like my book!

Anyway, my plotlines look pretty funny.
