Dang, I hate it how I have no time to write.

I still have some eye makeup on. I look like Bellatrix Lestrange. Oh well . . . Halloween late this year.

If Bush wins, I don't get to write my tragedy! Of course, he could still screw himself over . . . perhaps even worse than he could have done in a simple loss . . .

Working the polls was actually pretty fun. The two assistants were actually a husband and wife, a Republican and Democrat, respectively. The former was a WWII vet, and he definitely had that sort of military leader look to him . . . you know, the dignified retired old general, stiff and proud but in an aged way? The two poll clerks reminded me of those two old man Muppets who always argue and joke around-- they were buddies, and at least one of them was in WWII, too. He took a special interest in me, and kept talking to me about how he got off easy in the Navy band, because he played drums (and he's very upset because he's arthritic and can't play as well anymore), and how he likes old big band music so much better than modern music. He played once with Benny Goodman and told me all about it. I really like talking to older people; they never let me get a word in edgewise, lol, but they have such interesting stories.

I had a poem, darn it, in the shower, about it, but I forgot it and now I have no time to recall it and make it beautiful again. Perhaps I will recall it later (when I have more TIME!!! *looks forward to next week*), and make it beautiful again . . .

The bad thing is that I couldn't find LaSalle street to drop off the rest of my poll book. I had to drive home to find Mom and have her drive me there (or show me how to drive there by leading me), and then SHE got lost, and we drove around for like 15 minutes and then I had to turn back to school and was SO late to play rehearsal.

Today, the comment from Erik on my busty dress was that it made me look exactly how he pictured Juliet. Now THAT'S a compliment, lol ^_^ . . . and also that I look like Olivia Hussey . . . who is, well, Juliet, in the 1964 movie version. She's also my Andromeda roleplay picture ^_^ That made me excited; two good things in one!

Plus the Bellatrix eyes. Hey, I am an all-out obsessive thing. Woo!

I plowed through a very good portion of Les Miserables today. That is really such a good, good book. It makes me sigh and get teary and get inspired and he just has such insight into little emotions and he phrases it so well (and even in the translated version, because God knows I can't read French . . . well, maybe not as badly as I can speak it . . . lol . . . that language makes utterly no sense to me . . . ).

Nichole, I found you some good parts, if you care to read them.

One very important thing: Victor Hugo once compares Eponine to Ophelia. Is that bad? Cosette is compared to Juliet. Hmm . . .

(That, oh dear readers, was meant to be cryptic to everyone who doesn't blatantly know what I am talking about . . . sorry . . . lol . . . )

So now Bush is ahead, but only by a margin. Stupid Florida needs to freaking count its freaking ballots and freaking on freaking time.

Yes, Seth, freaking. They really are freaking. Lol . . .

I feel like something big is happening as I write this silly, petulant essay. I would write a parody about it, to American Pie, if I had time. I also would write another Harry Potter parody about Remus the day Voldemort falls to the same song. I am a geek. I know this. I mean, pssh, I'm writing a tragedy about Bush.

Your Beauty lies
in Dreams. Day-dreamer, creative and forever lost
in thoughts. You're a
dreamer, wanting more in your life than you have
now. Though you a lot of your
dreams never seem to leave your own mind. You've
created your own little world
inside that head of yours and you're most beautiful
when your mind is in
the clouds with sparkles in your eyes. You'd rather
be asleep than awake and
people find it hard to have long conversations with
you as you mind often
wanders and you aren't a big fan of reality. You
are long and almost child-like
probably with a great love for Fantasy or Science
Fiction. You're very creative
and most likely love to write wonderful stories or
draw and even sing, anything
creative that you can use that vast imagination of
yours. You're a bit of a
puzzle to people love to wonder as to what is going
in your mind.

If you can, come see me in the play Thursday or Friday at 7:30. It may fall apart and crash and burn, but I think I'm funny . . . *feeble grin.*

Good night, all!
