I just watched "Pay It Forward." I really liked it. Okay, so it was sort of really sappy, but, hey, it appealled to my humanity-is-good thing. Everybody had WAY too much drama going on . . . but hey. There are some people that are like that . . . and I guess if you throw all of them together . . . lol . . . Anyway, it made me cry. You know of course the kid was going to die; he was just too good. I call it the Victorian Novel Syndrome, Perfect Child Strain.
School in two days. Gaaaa . . .
Everybody's now like off at college. It's crazy.
Tory and I were really hyper today, and I don't know why. We sat around washing dishes (there is no dishwasher at the lake) and defined "flogging," because Tory said something about flogging someone with a moose, and I was like, "You can't flog someone with a moose; I think to flog you have to have a stick that is thinner than the person. You can't 'flog' someone with a semi; it's more like colliding . . . repeatedly." Anyway. Really hyper. Yeah.
Went to Mrs. Walker's visitation. It's sort of hard to be so sad when in all of her pictures she's so happy. I never saw a happier lady. I talked to Jon a little bit, and then I saw Aimee Kelley and Laura and Vidhi and talked to them, too. Reminisced, etc . . . Mom leading most of it, because she doesn't shut up or leave me to my own social affairs, lol . . .
