Ouchy, Hurty Hands

tabular_rasaI had a nice lunch with Jamien today. Sheesh, I haven't seen him in ages. I talk to him online all the time, but it's just nice to see people, in person, you know?
Set construction was pretty fun, though painful. I kept hurting myself. First, I got a giant papercut on a piece of painted heavy duty foamboard that nearly split my hand open. I went and wrapped it in some toilet paper and moved on, and everyone was really impressed, apparently. Then, when I was holding a piece of wood steady for Andrew, the drill slipped and he ended up shooting a screw into my hand, sort of, and then it started bleeding . . . and, well, more toilet paper resulted, this time on the other hand.
So now my hands are all dry from the plaster and the cold, and chopped up, and rather rough anyway from dealing with all the dry wood.
Now I should probably go finish throwing my clothes in the living room so they can be packed tomorrow morning, and go call Jessica.
