Mm, I'm too tired to say much today.
A Series of Unfortunate Events was pretty good, though I got so confused when the whole signing-with-the-wrong-hand thing was foiled on behalf of a non-canon climax . . . I was like, "WAIT! That's how she's supposed to stop him!" but no, apparently not . . . lol . . .
I saw the ads for the Willy Wonka movie. Alice, Lindsey, and I reckoned that this Willy Wonka looks like what one would get in a cross between Alice and Michael Jackson. That's just scary from Depp, man . . .
Well, at least he doesn't look like Mr. Borg anymore . . .
I think the original will be better; they always are. Still . . . hmm . . . it's an intriguing concept.
They also have remade The Pink Panther. Now, that was an awesome movie. This one can't possibly be as funny. It's so much more slapping slapstick, as opposed to, "Oh . . . I seemed to have grazed your pool table." I wonder if they'll do the nudist colony bit. With Beyonce . . . they may have to for the male fan base, lol . . .
Tory knows what I'm talking about.
Plus Madagascar looks funny for the sole sake of the penguins. That's really it, though.
Things I have to do BY TOMORROW (as well as what I have already planned, which takes up like five hours already ^_^):
1) Get at least one more library book to read while in Switzerland, preferably two, ideally three
2) Buy a notebook
3) Buy Neil's Yu-Gi-Oh DVD
4) Find Liz's gift but she may have to wait
5) Finish Alice's gift but she may have to wait, too
6) See if Jessica can do anything with the time I have left
7) Get going on this whole packing deal
Good night, all. I should probably wake up earlier tomorrow.
PS: I posted randomly in that redxdeath person's journal . . . not offensively, just, well, rather socratically. They have no lj friends, and there's probably more to them than the sole flesh and waste of oxygen they accuse us of being.
Plus, you know me, faith in humanity, woohoo!!!
