Quiz by Sarah Chow
Which SEASON are you?
I consist of my friends, apparently, but it wouldn't let me copy the thing to my journal . . . it was too big or something. Actually, it really was very, very big. Very, very, VERY big . . . because it like made a little link to all friends out of each square, depending on the color or something. How'd you get yours to post, Christina?
I put "Pinko" because my dad called me a Communist today-- even though I did defend him the other day with the whole "Need-Based College Aid" being based so entirely on Communism, lol . . . but I only disagree with (and don't really even disagree with-- just don't like) because it doesn't help me. How Republican . . . lol ^_^
I spent like five minutes trying to organize that sentence to my wishes. Am I OCD or what?
I put "Michael Moore" because he is going to hang out in a pot of fondue with me-- and Romeo and Juliet-- in Hell for the rest of eternity.
I have really taken that thing of Seth's to heart, lol . . .
Speaking of fondue . . . and complaining . . . I went up to the lake today and took out the boat lift. My dad, uncle, and cousins got to wear waders, and Tory and I got to wear shorts. Oh fun. Let me catch hypothermia, everyone. So I made a show of complaining and not being happy. Actually, no . . . I did quite well . . . at least, I think so.
As for the fondue, I brought home the fondue pot . . . also ear candles and the (wrong) Sterno canned heat thing . . . y . . . Anyway . . .
I felt smart at NHS volunteering at CCS/SOS (Church Community Services/Soup of Success . . . henceforth this will be known as CCS/SOS . . . because that is just entirely too long to type every single entry). I read one of the Spanish readers, like the ones they have for little kids in America, only this one was the same thing in Spanish, meant for the Spanish-speaking kids whose moms come in for the program, or whose parents come in to shop at the food pantry . . . and I was reading it and I could understand it all in one book and most of it in another! 12 weeks of Spanish, baby, yeah! It was called "Yo Puedo Ayudar," and I was like, "I Can Help!" Oh yeah!!!
Anyway . . . lol . . . Japanese is much better with me, I do think . . . though Spanish is a hell of a lot easier. It really is. You romance-language peoples forgot not to take your native alphabet for granted, lol . . .
KANJI OF DOOM!!!
I did crappy on my ACT scores. Well, I got a 99% on my English, or something . . . but it was only like a 34 or something . . . it really very much confused me. I only got a 28 on Math and a freaking 26 in Science, but Science was so utterly f*cked up I knew I was going to fail it anyway.
I don't think I like the ACT as much anymore. Go SAT!!! Woohoo!!!
. . . until, of course, you send me back my SAT II scores and I get like crap on them . . .
Dad is playing the demonstration CD that I got with my Tchaikovsky CD . . . it was full of a bunch of Baroque and Classical pieces that I'm not so into, and he is, and I knew he'd enjoy them better, so I gave the CD to him . . . I think we played this song. I think it's from like 9th grade . . . I do recall I was a 1st violin and I felt special, because we were divided into three parts, randomly . . . unlike last year in which I was made a 2nd for one random song and was very irritated.
I don't think Mr. Briddell thinks I'm very good. I also think he thinks I'm crazy.
I am really, really itchy and it is driving me crazy. I think it is because it is getting too dry out.
We're going to have Neil's birthday dinner pretty soon, and birthday cake.
